Black men do you feel like 95% of white women only love the stereotype of black men?

For example on TV we see tall musclebound black guys in literally every black film and I know damn well black men come in different shapes and sizes. If you lurk dating websites white women seem to think black men only come in one type which is badboy, tall and thuggish.

So aren't black men pretty much just sex objects? Not once have I've ever seen women say they want a nerdy type of black guy. Matter of fact if a black guy tells somebody he likes anime people look at him like a freak for not liking rap or gangster culture. People act like black men must only like hypermasculine things 24/7 all day.

by the way am i the only one that thinks it's insane that 99% of black romance movies star a black guy that's always 6'3", perfect super ripped muscles, perfect jawline and a cliche alpha black dude personality. It seems like black men can only be the alpha male or fucking invisible. At least white guys can be alpha, nerdy, loser-ish, average, feminine and still get the girl. Black dudes can only be super mega alpha.

I know some gag girls will pretend to like black men but they stereotype black men and don't know it. When Gag women say they want a successful black man instead of a thug they mean a stereotypical romance movie super tall rich successful black guy.

(What really made me type this up was from what I saw on reddit. A good semi nerdy black guy asked for advice on picking up girls. The forum told him he need to embrace thug culture. That pretty much disgusted me. Black men have become sex objects that are only hot if they have muscles and act like thugs in the eyes of white women)

As a black woman I can't tell you what black men feel. However, from what I see a lot of white girls fetishize black men and the sexual stereotypes about them. Like there are lots of white women with black men and love dating black men but won't stand up for them with stuff like BLM. BLM is highly centered around the death of black men, despite black women are dying as well, that a lot of white women claim to love, but in reality they don't care about their struggle. They think that a black man gets them closer to being black, while neglecting the issues that black men face. Of course that's not all white women, but I see quite a few of them who do this, especially the ones who actively declare themselves better than black women because their man chose them over a black woman. But that's just my take on it.

As a white woman who has been in a 6 year relationship with a black man, I have a lot of respect for what you wrote. I think that for an interracial relationship to work you have to be open to learning. I never realized how ignorant I was before, but have learned over the last years how privileged my existence has really been. I worry about my boyfriend every time he leaves the house, every time he is 5 minutes later than he said he would be my mind runs wild with all of the horrible things that we see happening to innocent black people every day. Just as a side note, when I first started hanging out with my boyfriend there was another girl who was black and made it very clear that she was interested in him. I don’t mean this is a self deprecating way because I’m very comfortable with myself, but I never once considered myself better than her… if anything I was incredibly threatened by her because she was gorgeous.

I personally only know a few black guys very well, I'll be honest. I've kissed two - one was a friend who I think went on to be some kind of business manager and the other was an engineer.

If women are dating black men simply because they're black... Yeah, some fetishism is likely involved. It goes both ways.

I think people need to get over the fascination with interracial relationships and let people live their lives. My boyfriend of 6 years is black and would probably fit right into the stereotype that I’m supposed to “love him for” because he’s 6’3”, a football player, and loves rap music. But he also watches more anime than anyone I know and was an IT major. I love him because he is kind, smart, trustworthy, funny, and makes me happy. The fact that he has more melanin in his skin than me I guess is just an added bonus.

I think a lot of white women deduce black men to sexual objects, but a lot of black guys do the same.
