Pressing lips together?

This guy tends to press his lips together when we make eyecontact. He looks at me and then he looks down while pressing his lips together up and down like he is lubricating out his lip balm. It's hard to explain what I mean, but I hope you understand. One time I was going down the hall with my friend and he was talking with his friends and suddenly when I looked at him he had this wide open eyes while he leaned forwards his friend. I didn't notice this, but my friend told me later. What does all this mean? He tends to look at me a lot.
