What does it mean when a guy doesn't keep eye contact when talking?

He'll glance occasionally at my face but will focus on something else when having a conversation like a chair, the wall, etc for most of the conversation. He's obviously paying attention because he can recall what I tell him and answer my questions. He just doesn't make too much eye contact with me. What could it mean?

I often keep eye contact with women I speak to, but if you look at her eyes for a little too long it can get all creepy. Be aware how long he looks at your eyes

he is unsure of himself. maybe he is shy or not sure how much he likes you or likes you way too much. could be either of those :) give me some details :)

I don't think he likes me because of something else that happened prior but I do think he is unsure of himself. When in a group, he constantly has to be the one talking and it has be about him otherwise he looks uncomfortable. Its annoying because when I talk I like for people to make eye contact with me because it establishes that you're paying attention otherwise I think you just don't care much.

ok. so in the end you think he doesn't like you. but i guess you like him since you are so interested in this :P did you notice this thing with the eye contact at others? :P in this case i think you should just not care too much about him :P if you are sure he doesn't like you I don't know

I did have a crush on him when we first met but I started getting to know him and he's really not my type (he's very full of himself) and i admit that i'm more hung up on why he doesn't like me lol. I guess it has something to do with my pride. Any advice on caring?

yes i have :) so first of all, everyone has their lesson and an order in which they learn them about their life. in one moment, you have to learn something, but he has to learn something else. but in the end, both of you will have all those lessons learned. i'm talking about general things here. also in the end, after some time (years), maybe you will part ways :) or you won't. but in both cases, all that matters is the impression you let to another person about you. maybe he doesn't like you now, but he will remember good things about you in the future. everyone likes pure feelings and honesty. so just be detached, but be nice to him :) and treat that pride of his with acceptance :) i think it's the only nice way to get him understand some things about you :) (sorry for the long introduction, i had to do it haha)

It probably means he is very shy and doesn't want to end up being all creepy if he looks into your eyes for too long ^^
