What do guys mean when they call a girl cute?

This is like the number one compliment I get from anyone. Not even just guys. I have older women going "You're so cute!" I get called "cute" and "sweet" A LOT. I don't even think I'm sweet to be honest, but, whatever.

I get called cute by people from all ages though. I had a five year old little boy say it as I was ringing his mother up when working. And then I went back to automotives to chill with my friend on my break, and my friend's co-worker came in and smiled and was like "Don't you look cute in your little boots?" (because I always wear boots.) And then today I was walking with the guy I like, and this dude always seems to have a sorta scowl when he's working, and he's got the dark hair and all, and never even attempts to talk to anyone else. So he's got kind of a reputation for being a trouble maker, and the bosses always assume he's up to no good. Meanwhile they always treat me like a princess and I get whatever I want almost all the time. And he kinda laughed when I pointed that out and goes "Well yeah, it's a little different, I mean you're cute as shit." WHICH MADE MY HEART SOAR. I wanted to jump up and down and clap, but I didn't because I didn't wanna freak him out yet.

But what do guys mean when they stuff like that? Am I just "cute" then?

It means you have an attractive appearance. Guys call a girl hot if they see her in an extremely sexual way, but guys also like cute girls. Even if you don't act cute or aren't naive and have a cute appearence vs an escort appearance they think it's attractive. I don't know, guys like a girl who looks innocent or youthful. I don't know how to explain this to you guys try to explain this to me (they say this to me ) hell my friend said I cry cutely yesterday and I was like, dude wtf you giggling at my pain? bro?

I got so mad yesterday, I even stomped my foot at my friend. Like I was having basically a tantrum at work omg. And my dude friend just started laughing he goes "This is adorable, it's like a kitten getting mad at a lion." But like, I also have a small sweet sounding voice, and apparently seem very innocent. Which I'm like, not xD like I'm not the type to sleep around, but like, I smoke pot, and I drink, and that stuff. So it's like I do my fair share of bad things, but NO ONE EVER SUSPECTS

They do that to me too. I tried to scare him, and he just laughed at me until tears were in his eyes and said I'm not scary and I never will be. it's like, bro why can't you take me seriously?

I always just use it to my advantage. Like I said. I GET AWAY WITH SO MUCH. Not only that, but I can get people to do things for me. Like the other day I was trying to get carts for customer service, and when I tried to pull them apart it was heavy and hard, and I just stood there looking pathetic for a second and the cart pusher ended up getting them for me

cute is generally the compliment i get too. it kind of sucks, in my opinion. from what i understand, cute is more about feeling affectionate towards someone than being physically attracted to them. cute could also be a friendzone term.

Seriously, you gotta understand that men don't have a lot of hidden meaning in what they say, they are not all nuanced like a girl is. Don't try to read anything else into it, just accept what they're saying in the best light possible. This way you won't be disappointed.

It's kind of a go to compliment for boys. Boys will call a girl hot to one another, but usually cute to their face. Unless they're super serious. That's when they would say something more specific. But being cute is a top notch compliment 👍

To call a girl cute would be like saying in my definition-you like her appearance and looks but she's quite as good looking as another girl. She looks better in her own way kinda thing. It also works for things they do. Like they do cute things.
