What does it mean when a girl laughs and says...

There's a girl in my church band that I like and I think she may like me too, but I'm not sure. One night, while we were practicing, I held up some "egg shakers" (which are musical instruments) and pretended they were boobs. She laughed and said, "You're a mess!" Does that mean she thought I was funny, or did she think I was crazy or a pain or something? What does it mean when a girl laughs and says something like that?

I would say it means at least she's noticed you, however it depends on how she was laughing, was she laughing with you or at you?

You think she may like you too? Best way really is to find out, chat her up, and see if she indicates interest in you. By indicating interest I mean, does she look at you, does she listen to what you have to say and try to answer back your conversation. If you tease her with something negative, like playfully say, ohhh I just noticed, your nose twitches when you laugh, or your eyes seem to be flickering more today why?

Little things that you can ask her just to hold up a conversation and see if she sticks around.

She could have found your stunt funny or she could have found it pervish. But the truth is, it does not mean anything and I would not dig too much into it.

I see - you're probably right. She laughs at all the stupid things I say. She also tells me I have a sexy voice and she's always touching me. She actually bit me on the earlobe one night at her house! But, she really doesn't talk to me that much. She seems to talk to everyone else but me. I think she may be shy too.

I'm thinking it meant she likes you, if she had laughed and brushed it off this would be a different story.

Based on what you've said in response to some of the other answers I'd say she does like you and is waiting for you to make the first move. I wouldn't go so far as Tazzy said and kiss her right off the bat. (idk but the "church" band thing makes me think you should take it a bit slower, I may be wrong) It might scare her off. Try asking her to hang out sometime just the two of you, go to dinner after practice.
