He doesn't want to hurt your feelings by saying what it is or why he's not interested in you. It's just his personal preferences that's all. Don't press him on it, you're making him very uncomfortable by asking (think if it was reversed and a guy was asking you). Just put it behind you and move on. It doesn't even sound like he cares to be friends that much and you very well may never know the reason, you just have to learn to accept that and move on. Otherwise you are just torching yourself with this. It happens to everyone as well. Some people will just not like you and you'll never know why or be able to change it.
