Is it bad being called a trophy wife?

A lot of the times my guy friends will tell me im the perfect trophy wife or always make jokes that when they get rich they'll "wife me up" to be a trophy wife. I know what a trophy wife is, but im wondering if i should take offence to this. I wonder if they say this because right now my schooling isn't doing bery good and im not planning on going to college because I'm not sure it's for me at the moment. Do they say this because of that and think I'm inferior to them?

Shit they're guys, what would you expect? We make a lot tasteless/crude jokes, things like this included. It really doesn't have much underlying meaning/reason to it, besides the fact they think you're attractive probably if they're joking about you being a good 'trophy wife.' Don't put much thought to it since you can go live your own life, do whatever the fuck you want. If they're really your friends I'm sure they wouldn't actually act on you like that in the future, then again most people are good enough to know the difference between making a joke and turning it into reality.
