Nope, the race has nothing to do with fighting skills, it depends on individuals, not on their racial origin.
Otherwise, pound per pound, you could say that east Asian fighters are the best.
Anyway, most of the greatest UFC and other MMA fighters are Caucasians and Latinos, because they have the best training conditions (thanks to the sponsors).
Black guys have the endurance, speed and stamina, Muhammad Ali is one of the best examples in history, he was the best boxer, almost untouchable in his prime: http://i.imgur.com/YgnzskL.gif

Uhm. . . the arguably the best MMA fighter in history is Fedor Emelianenko.

He looks like a waiter. But he will tear you to pieces.

www.fedoremelianenko.tv/pix/news_eng_283_4_3.jpg

[wingspan83]

LOL that guy would get shredded by peak Tyson

[RolandCuthbert]

You think so? In terms of all time greats where is Tyson listed? 3rd? 20th? 157th? Haha!

[iFarted]

Unfortunately he's way passed his prime... he got ko'd by mitrione..

[RolandCuthbert]

@iFarted He is damaging his legacy by continuing to fight. But in his prime? No one better. People talk about Jon Jones was/is stronger. Perhaps. But he would never have been able to get close to Emelianenko when he was younger. The only one I think that could really have caused him problems would be Anderson Silva. But then Fedor would be stronger if he got close. All-around, Fedor was just phenomenal.

[iFarted]

Naa in heavy weight when alistair overeem was overroid i think overroids top notch kickboxing can't be matched... now that overeem isn't overoid anymore he's a glass cannon

[RolandCuthbert]

@iFarted Haha! Yeah. . .

[iFarted]

For reals, overroid > prime fedor

[RolandCuthbert]

@iFarted I am not going to dispute it. Just like my guy. So unassuming. Until you are in the ring with him.

[iFarted]

He could barely stand and trade with prime cro cop. Only won cause he bust sambo

[Zorax]

Boxing vs Sambo - Tyson wouldn't stand a chance, peak or not.
By the way, Tyson was knocked out in during his "peak" age, by James Buster Douglas ;)

[RolandCuthbert]

@Zorax Oh wait a minute. I thought he met an mma fighter named Tyson. Mike Tyson? That fool? Anyway, the two sports are totally different. Boxing is a joke now and was fast becoming a joke when Tyson fought.

[Zorax]

I never heard of MMA fighter called Tyson, but I agree with you about the boxing :D

[emerald77]

On average.

[Anonymous]

I see many other races see white guys as fruit cakes. I mean the women in their countries on average are almost leading the households e. t. c compared to countries with other races as majority. Their women walk all over them in the west and talk trash. They even allowed feminism grow to the extent that it is almost a radical religion that destroys any man who speaks against it.

So yes, on average I wouldn't say white men are the strongest physically compared to other races, but this is not the always case always in all white men. Go down south in the US, some tough as nails guys there. Europe atm not so much.

[AdamThomas]

No. Plenty of champions have been black and white, it depends on the fighter.

When it comes to McGregor vs Mayweather, boxing Mayweather has the advantage - with loads of rules to stop McGregor from using most of his weapons. In the street, without those rules to save him, against McGregor Mayweather wouldn't stand a chance. And of blacks really are the best at fighting why is Conor a two weight division champion?

[wingspan83]

In the streets McGregor would get destroyed by the best bar brawlers in the world anyway, idiot. Boxing isn't street fighting.

[AdamThomas]

@wingspan83

No shit.

[iFarted]

Not if theyre around the same size...

[AdamThomas]

@iFarted

It depends. The way you beat a trained fighter is to do things that they don't do in their sport. When you train to fight a certain way your movements and reactions become almost automatic. So for example a boxer will tend to just throw hands not even thinking about defending kicks, knees, elbows, grappling etc. That's how a boxer gets beaten.

Then with an MMA guy, they have many more weapons that they'll use in a street fight. Even then, in their sport there are no headbutts, no eye gouges, no biting, no groin shots, no small joint manipulations, no using the environment around you. Any experienced street fighter will use these things against an MMA guy and the MMA guy, being on autopilot, won't even think about these things.

[iFarted]

Chances are a trained mma/kickboxer wouldn't let you get in that close to head butt, eye gouge, etc...

[iFarted]

Well at least that evel of mcgregor

[AdamThomas]

@iFarted

True, although then it depends on where you are before the fight starts. In an MMA fight you both make sure you're ready and you fight, in a street fight you don't. Somebody usually throws the first punch out of nowhere and you're usually pretty close already, and an experienced guy will make sure he's first.

[mrmeseeks]

They may be better, or more likely it could very person to person, I mean some of the best known boxers were African American people, like Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, Floyd Mayweather, Rubin The Hurricane Carter, George Foreman... etc, the number of African American boxers has declined over the years since the 80's & 90's

[ken718]

It has nothing to do with race or size it's skill and knowing how to fight if a guys big as hell im gonna stay on the outside and hit him till he gets tired then knock him out if a guys short i got reached so ill just jab him from the outside if a guy is tall n lanky ill bodyslam him then beat his face it's simply knowing how to fight n what to do...

[_Troian_]

No, but we can say I guess cause of the life style most of black dudes don't have better life conditions just like white dudes. Too much comfort oftenly makes men weaker, but if you grow up around an area where you need to fight, survive and w. e you be more tolerative to harder situations. So thats why most of them end up being gangsters, athletes, rappers or porn actors lol.. while white dudes mostly be lawyers and shi

[aceleon]

i smell racism here.

fighting has absolutly nothing with race especially black or white.

this kind of questions are the questions of mental illness.

[think_logic85]

Let me answer your question with another question 'are black guys better at creating topics on here than white guys?'

[Maik567]

Funny how the pic is Conor and Floyd. Floyd might win a boxing match but if it was a no rules street fight Conor would beat the shit out of Floyd.

[DonkeyRick69]

Not really just look at who us dominating heavyweight boxing. It comes down to the individual

[Anticipation]

Merryweather could take mcgreggor at boxing,, not sure if they fought in a cage.

[TencSeven]

Dude. Yes or No? Seriously? Race doesn't play a role, as long as it isn't a sport like basketball. There it got proven.

[TencSeven]

Okay that comment is bs. Isn't what I wanted to say.

[wingspan83]

In boxing it's pretty much blacks and hispanic domination. White boys have it just as rough as in Bball.

[DonkeyRick69]

Worldwide white countries do well in basket ball in the Olympics considering it's not a major sport outside the us

[beefcakebradybatson]

In boxing because most boxers were poor, and a larger percentage of blacks than whites are poor. Out of the ring... there are some D**N tough white lads.

[tommio]

its all about training, skill and strategy. From what I've seen when it comes to stamina and speed black guys are pretty tough but fighting is a different story.

[Anonymous]

Though blacks typically have more testosterone than other races (and are thus offered an easier chance to get big and strong), it all comes down to individual technique in a fight.

[Coldvirus]

blacks tend to have more muscle while white usually are smarter

[GoodGuyGregGGG]

no depends on the person. mayweather gonna beat him though becuase boxing isn't only just knocking ur opponent out.

[SometimesFacetious]

>whitey can't fight

[wingspan83]

1 on 1 unarmed, yes the blacks would win

[iFarted]

No.. whoever was better trained and has more experience is usually better..

[Anonymous]

yes especially when it came to the colonization of africa.

[wingspan83]

Pure fighting ability, not tactical warfare with weapons and such. Idiot.

[StickStickity13]

Not according to colonization of Africa lol

[DarklordOdin]

Aaaaand we have a winner.

[Joti_Harrison]

You know colonisation of Africa was mostly done with guns, canons, trade and through deception versus the Africans who had spears and what?

It was more a mental win, same against India, middle east, Native Americans.

If it were a fair one on one fight with full force physical strength, most of those African warriors were deadly. I heard they had rituals were young boys had to kill large animals with just spears and eat their hearts to be accepted into manhood.

[StickStickity13]

@Joti_Harrison guess what, intelligence is more important than anything else.

[Joti_Harrison]

No one's disputing that intelligence is more important, but the question clearly is asking something else.

[wingspan83]

I'm talking about pure fighting and not tactical warfare, idiot.

[StickStickity13]

Warfare is fighting, you dipshit

[Joti_Harrison]

I think the type of fighting is clear with the picture of the two dudes above

[wingspan83]

Pure fighting ability with NO weapons, 1 on 1, you stupid fuck.

[Kreneman]

Color or race have nothing to do with skills.

[wingspan83]

But it does with athleticism

[Kreneman]

Actually Im a Martial Artist and I have sparred with different types of race (Men) and I notice that there is a unique traits meaning I have seen different types of gifts that are known with a particular race but at the sametime its still boils down to how they use it and also mastering there skills.

[Thebestopinionhere]

race doesn't have anything to do with fighting...

[_Hassler]

Mcgreggor all the way

[desidoll]

Yes kind of.

[ken718]

Most black guys just talk and talk... and talk then get knocked out you watch to much tv

[Anonymous]

Nope. Even look at all the champions of UFC.

[Anonymous]

War history says no.

[wingspan83]

I'm talking about pure fighting not tactical warfare idiot

[Opinion Owner]

how is pure fighting different from war? Unless you're admitting those UFC guys are pussies compared to actual soldiers.
War is the purest form of fighting.

[wingspan83]

Pure fighting without weapons.

[CT_CD]

Some are.
