Do you re-read old messages?

Guys, do you ever re-read old messages or email from someone that you fancies or had been dating?

If you do, why do you do it? Are you looking for hidden meanings? Reliving the moment?

What if the messages weren't that nice and were almost like "break up" messages, would you re-read those and why?

Well.. there are times when people read old message.. maybe you're missing the person.. maybe you want to know what led to the break-up.. sometimes to analyse what mistakes were made.. and a lot more.. but yeah.. you also re-live the moment..

Mmmm I've had a similar incidence of this recently when I love interest reopened a "breakup" style email chain we shared over a month ago... but he opened it when he found out he would be seeing me again next week. I'm searching for hidden meaning in him opening it, and wondering was he searching for hidden meaning when he opened it 🙈

Ah ok. I really like him. I'm nervous about seeing him but I'm also excited - I had really wanted something to happen between us.

The day after readying it, and the day after it was confirm we were seeing each other, he was teasing me about something on the phone - that was the first time he'd been confident with me for weeks. Prior to that it was still a bit awkward and he was sometimes a bit shy. We're meeting for work, not personal but we'll be away a few nights together in a small group

I think him reading the emails means that he's obviously thought about me (whether negatively or positively), but I guess him thinking of me at any stage is a positive thing?

Yeah I re read messages. I never delete any messages. As sometimes i refer to previous message as I forget the conversation with persons because I text with many people in whole day.

No nothing is like love relationship or ex love interest. I am happy Single still. It's just my habit.

Sometimes it happens that we are not able to understand the meaning of the text messages what other person is trying to say.

The sad people who are not able to handle the break up re read and be more sad by remembering the past. I believe in living in present.

As each individual has different reasons for re reading the messages. Some re read to be happy by remembering old memories.

Yes, but if we break up or stop talking I delete the conversations so I don't re-read them and can move on faster
