When a guy tells a girl that she's a simple girl, does it equals boring/plain? (Out of curiosity as I get this from male friends and guys I talk to)

It means that you might be introvert person and shy. Some guys call the girls as simple if they don't wear makeup. in my opinion it doesn't mean boring. Plain then yes.
