Can you be too muscular?

I have question, I work out quite a lot, and I got pretty big muscularly speaking. And none of my clothes fit etc. So when I would go out with my guy friends to bars etc. I would notice that some girls seemed not impressed or turned off. One girl even said "you would be cute if you weren't so big."

Is this really that big of a turn off? I'm not nasty big meat head..

most important thing is that you feel attractive. if this is how you are comfortable and content, then the girl for you will be attracted to that in its own.

women are visual and attraction is important - but I think it is much more important to men. I've dated and deeply cared for guys who I never would have originally pursued mainly because they weren't visually what I normally went for. my last serious relationship was with a guy who I never would have looked twice at on the street. but every day I spoke to him, I became more attracted to him, to the point where he was the most handsome thing ever.

so - be healthy, be confident, the right woman will be looking for that. girls and boys only look at aesthetics.

in my opinion, I am really attracted to muscular guys. for a guy to be "too big" he would have to look like he's obviously on steroids and have the no-neck, I can't put my arms down syndrome. I know a lot of girls prefer the leaner type though so that might be why you're hearing that

It comes down to taste. For example, I prefer guys with little to no muscle, no juice heads for me :). But some girls, really like meaty guys. There is no guy that every girl loves, so just stay how you feel comfortable and find yourself a girl who likes that. :)

I like lean muscles, the kind where it looks like the guy has a job where he might have to lift stuff a lot... a swimmer or soccer player physique is usually amazing too. Muscles that are too big just don't look like they'd be comfortable to cuddle up to, plus if it looks like a guys spends all day in the gym then it makes me think he wouldn't really have time for a girlfriend anyway

Really muscular guys get a rap from movies,the media, etc. Many are perceived as dim, rude, arrogant, etc. because that's how people are taught to perceive them. Personally, I'd say it looks great, but many people fall victim to the "he's not dateable" idea portrayed on tv.

like the other girl said, it can be intimidating, I like the smooth kind of muscules, not the buldging kinds becuase they just scar the hell out of me, like a flat stomach, maybe a little contor is fine but if you have like an 8pack, you might want to tone it down a little. just my veiw though, a lot of girls like it I'm sure

I personally love muscles as long as it doesn't look like your on steroids. There's such a thing as too big (like when your arms look all veiny) but other than that muscles are one of the hottest things about a guy

Some girls are into the really big muscles, others not so much. Personally I like muscle but not too much where I feel intimidated. Too much is a turn off for me. There are tons of woman that are into the big big muscles, so I wouldn't worry.
