why do you stare and do double takes of women who look like this?

personally, I have noticed this more from men 35+. Do men only appreciate this shape when they get to a certain age?

It's just the overall curves. A smaller waist makes to boobs and butt/hips stand out more. Subconsciously it's an indicator that you're healthier and would be better suited for mating. It's pretty much an instinct for guys. Now how discreet they are when they do notice is another story.

It's similar how most women find a man with shoulders and chest bigger than their waist more appealing. Think of an upside down trapezoid shape. It just a subconscious tell sign a man's fit and would be a good protector and hunter.

It's part of nature. Men prefer women with such a figure because wide hips suggests her body is well capable of carrying a child. We don't think of it or notice it. It's just engraved in our minds. It's like how women go for men that are masculine, confident and good provider that offers protection

BUT men also frequently develop a desire for other female body types because a girl they did like early in the game had that body type.

Good genetics and supiriority. I like healthy fit woman most because they a physically supirior to other woman and even possibly me. When I see a round woman, I think, "I wonder how fast and long she can run for".
