We texted for 7 hours straight, is he interested in me?

A coworker wanted me to meet one his friends. He said we're so similar and that I should join them when they go out next time. He showed me his FB profile and I added him. The guy accepted my friend request and then we started chatting there. Yesterday we texted for seven hours straight, without a break. Insta replies. We talked about everything and he said that I'm the first female he ever talked to this way (he told me many personal things about him that no one else knows). He also said that if he knew that I was this amazing he would ask my coworker to meet me sooner. I then told him that we could just meet without the coworker and asked him if he would like to go out with me sometimes. He said he would love to, asked me when I get off work and said "Okay then we can meet one of these days after 17 PM".
Guys, would you waste your precious time chatting with a girl for 7 hours if you were not interested?

Ok so nearly the same thing happened to me.

I sat next to this dude in class. We both were put into a duo for an assignment so he gave me his number. Then we started texting all day everyday. Then it turned into calling. From calls to late night calls. Like as soon as I got home at 3:40 he'd call me whilst he was on the bus and we somehow talked on the phone till 4am. He would even reject or end calls early with his friend because him and I talked everyday. But we were nothing other than friends. We never caught feelings. And I pranked him and told him I liked him but he said he didn't like me. And we always talk about the memories. And he says he wants to do it all again. (but i got my phone taken away RIP)

so I don't know. A guy cud waste his time. But i have no idea

The statement that you are first female with whome he talking this way is a clear lie. Every uses same lines for every girl and if he is talking for 7 hours then this is not his first try. If he is sharing something in first meeting that means everyone knows it no guy share any personal things to girl. That too in first meet. And if he is ready to meet then he is just trying to create some relationship with you. So he wanna meet you. And it cannot be predicted what he is thinking about you with this information.

I've chatted to women for long periods of time when we had a lot to discuss even when it was already clear nothing would happen between us. That said, it's a very positive sign, and what I find most encouraging is that he wants to meet you in person without the guy who wisely played matchmaker. The guy you chatted with is definitely interested. It doesn't get more seamless than this. Congratulations!

I say he's probably interested, like, 95% sure. I know some weird people that probably could do it just because they ain't got nothing better to do, but most of the times, he's REALLY interested. I text with my girl friends all the time, but it's like she texts me, when I feel like it I pick up the phone, send something back and so on, not really instantly, not for that long at least.

What a waste. You get no emotion and zero body language - so you lose at least half of what's being communicated. You simply can't forge a relationship by texting.

He's interested if you are. Period. And obviously has nothing better to do with himself.

Oh, and the whole 'work thing' and 'co-worker' is a fail - figure when it all blows up, and it will, one or both of you will be looking for a new job.
