Guys, what would you do if you accidentally sent a heart emoji to a girl you know and now she doesn't talk to you?

Let's say you're texting a girl or girls in a group who are your friends/acquaintances, and you guys are having a good time making jokes and whatnot. Suddenly, you direct a reply to her and there's a heart in it, but it's not meant as "I love you". What would you do to fix the awkward situation?

My option: Act normal.

Confront her another time. I want to make sure that she knows the heart was a part of the joke.

Just let it be. If she misunderstood the context as love, I'd wait for her to ask me what it meant, if she runs, then let her run.

Act normal. She might feel awkward, but I know it was a joke, so I'll act like nothing is different. Things should return to normal.

Make up a lie. It really was an "I love you" but I'm just going to say the emojis are screwed up between Android and WhatsApp or something..

Ignore her forever, she'll probably ignore me too now anyways.

The questions included: "if sent by mistake." I'd just be up front with her, and tell her it was a mistake. I can't control how she would respond, if at all, but at least I'd have done what I could to rectify the situation.

Accident and mistake are two different things. Mistake is an action done on purpose but with an undesired outcome, accident is unintentional action with an undesired outcome.

Yeah, it's best to do what you can in your power to fix things. Can't always make another person understand or change their mind.

I wouldn't do anything I would just let it play out
