i want to get him new one. brother said perry ellis is not a bad brand. but also heard other brands like armani exchange/calvin kein/ etc

If you're looking for something classy I'd go with givenchy, monteblanc, tom ford they're all good brands but they are expensive, but if you want something cheaper yet classy at the same time then definitely check Herschel, Bellroy and Tumi.
