So me and this guy have been talking for 16 days straight non stop and got to know each other and we both find each other attractive. I like him and he told me he likes me, like whenever we would talk he would say “goodnight message you tomorrow” and he would message me the next day in the morning. On our most recent covo which was yesterday he just said goodnight and he didn’t message me today like he usually does. I wanted to message him but I didn’t wanna bother him/be clingy. Do you think I should message him first and when? And what should I say? Because I want him to be interested and not bored of me. also this is what he said when I said I don’t do hookups
Should I text this guy first or wait for him to text me first and how to keep a guy interested in you?
If you want to message him just go ahead, don't lose I nice guy just because you don't want to be the first one to say hello in the morning. You two are way passed the hard to get phase. In your message be yourself and say what you would say any other day. Message him and be happy girl 😉

So you don’t think he’ll find me annoying if I message him first sometimes? Also one more question how often would be normal to talk like how many days in a week? I have no experience with stuff like this or with guys
If he likes you as he says he won't find it annoying. And about how often, as much as you feel like, when people have feelings for someone it's normal to want to talk all the time, he feels the same about you, chances are that he's going to be happy to see messages from you

You have to find out what his real intentions are, I understand why you are being suspicious and careful, you don't want to feel used by him and/or have a broken heart after sex or a very short relationship. Keep in mind that trust is essential in a relationship, and if your guts tell you not to trust him you may have a reason for that. Through relationships you get to know a lot about yourself too, so take also this opportunity to look inside and understand why you like him, why you trust him (or not). So you can see more clearly who you really are. You said you like being single, there's nothing wrong with that, nobody knows about yourself like you do, so nothing like enjoying your own company, the downside is that you don't know how to behave in a relationship due to the lack of experience (like now) but the solution for that is simple, always be yourself and do what your heart tells you to do. I hope I didn't make you confused, I say a lot sometimes.
I see what you mean! And it’s not that I don’t trust him it’s just that I didn’t have good experiences before but you’re right about what you said and guess what he messaged me out of nowhere a few min ago lool
Maybe he just was busy, I'm happy he messaged anyway. I hope his intentions are good and you too have a great relationship. Don't let your past experiences cloud your judgement, always have a positive attitude and think that the the next time is always gonna be better, do that for everything in your life
Yeahh maybe he was busy and who knows what his intentions are but just gotta go with the flow and thanks! And funny that you mention that about the positive thing out of topic but I used to be really positive in everything and always had hope things would be better next time but recently I tried applying everywhere for jobs like literally everywhere without being pickey but nobody’s calling back and the people that do call back don’t want me so they reject me after the interview. Which sucks because it’s been months now and I don't know what to do, I’m trying to be positive but it’s hard I mean it’s not like I don’t have the experience I’ve worked in sales/marketing jobs before, retail/shoppers drug mart and I’ve also worked at the airport before in customs. I’m 20 and still in school so I’m just looking for a simple retail job but that seems impossible to find
The advice about being positive is still valid, even more now that you are struggling to get a job, believe in yourself, tell yourself you can get a job easily, your mindset is important in situations like an interview, the other person can unconsciously feel it. You have the experience and the skills, believe that you can and it will happen
I mean I would wanna date him that’s what I mean and he’s special to me because usally I never wanna date people I like being single like I’ve only dated 1 person before but with him he makes me feel happy when we talk like I would have a bad day but if I see a message from him it’ll make my day better. We get along well when we talk, have the same sense of humour and have things in common and we support help each other when either of us need some motivation to do something and he makes me wanna be a better person
No he’s not being distant we usally do talk everyday but we also have normal convos but sometimes during the convo he talks about sexual stuff but then we go bacj to taking about normal stuff so I don't know
