So, I'm about to graduate high school and I'm 17. I'm exactly 4 foot 9 inches tall. There's this sophmore guy i sit next to in my 4th period class who's is new to the school this year and since I'm the teachers aide that period, the teacher thought it would be good to sit him next to me so i can help him.
Recently, he's been asking me things about my self and suddenly asked about me height. Ever since i told him, he's been gushing on how cute it is and how small i am. Even today! He mentioned how small my feet were and how it was so cute. I also wear glasses for reading and he brought up "Glasses and small? Cute."
Wth? I mean I don't mind if he's joking around because i joke around with him too.. but calling me cute? No guy has ever said those things to me before. He usually talks to me when his friend next to him is absent but, when she comes to class, he doesn't talk to me as much. He chuckles while he calls me these things.. he is just making fun of me? Am i just over thinking?

So he doesn't see more as just a friend then? Today he didn't talk to me because, as i stated in my question above, he only talks to me when his friend isn't in class. So confusing.
