Why would my boyfriend archive and mute a WhatsApp conversation?

So I did something bad , I went into the rabbit hole and took a look at my boyfriend phone. On his archived WhatsApp message there was a chat with some girl aperently from his Uni time. There chat was cut in the middle (like the conversation was deleted ) then she texted an answer to a question that wasn’t there anymore. The conversation was definitely hidden since it was archived and muted. Should I be worried? Like why would he delete the chat then keep some of it and archive and delete it

If he's been talking to that girl for a long time then you need to start askimg questions

If he's started talking recently still you need to sort the thing out by approaching him

Don't try to scare him by being angry but solve it calmly.

That’s the thing I can’t know when they started talking since the chat was deleted , then it started again with an answer to a question that wasn’t there. It then ended pretty fast (the conversation) and my boyfriend muted it as well. I just don’t get him. He says he loves me and that I’m his world then he go and do this

Don't be harsh and don't stop till you get a convincing answer from him.

Chances are he was hiding it from you because it was inappropriate

That’s what my gut tells me that there is no reason he would delet it then the conversation kept going if he didn’t have anything to hide

Exactly the conversation was cut in the middle then all the sudden bom an answer to a question not there and he archived and muted it.
