If somebody's trying to use what they're fortunate enough to have to attract attention to themselves, I guess they shouldn't be surprised when the people's interest in them turns out to be fickle. after a certain point its pretty much impossible to loose your money completly. My father for example earn more money on interest then he spends. You'd have to be amazingly stupid to get rid of that ammount of money, which would make it highly unlike to get it in the first place.
