If manspreading should be illegal then so should shebagging.
Manspreading should it be illegal, what about shebagging?
If manspreading should be illegal then so should shebagging.
SHEBAGGING?
Well, how can it be shebagging if guys do it, too? I don't know about most people but, if I have my stuff on a seat beside me and someone wants to sit there, I have no problem with picking up my stuff and putting in my lap. Even if no one's trying to sit there, but there is someone standing near me, I'll put my stuff on my lap and offer them the seat. If they refuse, THEN I'll put my stuff back.
Also, I hardly ever "manspread". I'm 6' 9" tall and I can't TELL you how many times I got stuck sitting next to my guitarist on a road trip, and he's a few inches shorter than me but, when he sits, he spreads his legs far and wide no matter who's sitting next to him or how uncomfortable they are made by him FORCING them to keep their legs closed tight!!
I prefer to tweak the educational system instead of the law. Tweaking the law like that is a slippery slope because of civil rights.
I'm not big fan of treating the symptoms and not the root cause.
@Benedek38 lol men don't sit like that. Boys sit like that
@Benedek38 man spreading in my opinion is not the simple spreading your legs to give your crotch breathing room... I ts the over emphasis of space. From arms resting on the head of the next chair across, to legs overly wide

Except often public transport vehicles have narrow seats that don't allow you to open your legs AT ALL without occupying some space next to you. That's why i don't like sitting with guys next to each other on a train - no sideways leg space.
I am a small guy (5'8"), and even I have trouble sitting on some train or bus seats without discomfort if I don't want to disturbing the person next to me. I can only imagine what it's like for taller, larger people.
@Benedek38 lol i get your point. . I'm 6th tall and African. .. I often have to tuck my penis in and wrap it around my ankles when sitting on the train otherwise it usually gets trampled on.
Guys sit with their legs slightly apart because they have to. These feminazi bitches don't like it because they're prudes, annoying, and they think its to show dominance. I don't know any real reason except for guys have balls, and from what I understand, it hurt when they're squeezed.
In short, no, let your balls breathe in peace. (Just don't go out in public naked cuz that's illegal.)
I didn't dislike it but thank you for understanding. There is pain trying to force our legs close.
Sometimes it IS a show of dominance. I've sat next to guys who've done it just to take up space, with their legs spread as far apart as possible.
I can sit comfortably with my legs together. Perhaps some guys need to spread theirs slightly. But so much as to take up an adjacent seat on a crowded train? Come on.
@rebelsunshine bruh you need to get bigger balls if you can sit with your legs together
Our sideways balls thank you for this understanding.
No, i think that's ridiculous. Why make a certain sitting position illegal? Same about putting your bag on a certain seat illegal, it's ridiculous. Both are just a little rude and unpleasant to the people around them. If it bothers someone so much they can either ask the person to close their legs a bit or put the bag on their lap

lol she bagging sorry that made me laugh. Anyway, if there aren't whole lot of people on the train and available sitting then, shebagging isn't a problem. However the moment it gets crowded, I would just move my bag or place it under the seat.. then again i think the reason women put it beside them instead of under the seat is so that they don't forget it. But honestly don't think guys spreading their legs is an issue really, guys cans spread their legs and still give a good amount of space were their legs are not touching anyone elses. I've seen all the time.
"Shebagging." That's a pretty good word, I'll have to remember that one.
Both are extremely inconsiderate in that it means one less seat for others to use... it means that the manspreader or shebagger in question are only thinking about their own comfort and not what's better for their fellow passengers... but both are only a problem if there aren't other seats available.
I've been guilty of shebagging on the metro or the train, but only if the cart was empty or half-empty and there were plenty of seats.
I agree. The thing with manspreading is that manspreading doesn't even take up that much space, anyway.
I'm 27. When I was in middle school and high school, my biology teachers discussed the reason men and women WALK and SIT different is because of their genitals.
Women who DO NOT understand this have no right to talk. As a man, if I sit with my legs closed, it's uncomfortable. When I sit, my legs just naturally spread.
If I have to sit next to someone on a bus, I can close my legs a little, but the will still be spread out. When I have a lot of room when I am sitting, I will spread them out a little bit more.
It has NOTHING to do with being horny, wanting sex or any of that. It's just a biological thing. It shouldn't even be an issue.
I think shebagging should be illegal as it's not necessary. Guys manspread cause they kinda have to. I'm pretty sure if women had something between our legs, we'd do the same thing.
When I heard the term man spreading I thought it was the dumbest shit I've heard in quite a while.
Occupying extra seats with bags in a full public transport is extremely rude, I agree with this. But yea I wish that shebagging would be a good term to describe this, but sadly about every second male teenager here seems to do it aswell with his schoolbag. And neither of them does react unless you actually sit down on their bags.
Personally, I only take more than one seat if I have to transport something way too unhandy to fit on my knees or under my seat.
I don't think man spreading should be illegal 😂, 'shebagging' is more rude honestly.
Why can't we just push for common courtesy to come back, instead of calling it "manspreading" or "shebagging"? Let's face it, courtesy is dying out. There are women who speak EXTREMELY loudly on phones on trains, which is just as inconsiderate as a guy spreading his legs to take up two seats. There are people of both genders who don't get up for the pregnant, elderly etc. Let's just shame all these rude douches regardless of gender
The Media Takes Crazy And Whatever Gets Them Views. The Majority Of Women Don't Hate Men & Are Ok With the Fact That You Have A Body Part Between Ur Legs. Feminist Hate Men Because They Are Ugly, Crazy Cat Women So They Become Lesbian And Sane Women Don't Want Them And they Become Full Of Rage Setting Hatred Upon Men Calling It Justice.
Shebagging! Lmao, first time I heard that but yeah it's just as bad or worse than manspreading (obvious annoying manspreading.) Obvious slight manspreading is natural and normal and should not be frowned upon in any way.
Shebagging though, there is no reason you can't keep your purse/bag on your lap.
Well in my experience as daily public transfer user both genders do it on the same rate e. g. using up more than one place.
The solution: Take your space. Ask the person if you can have the seat, if they deny place yourself onto their bags or legs like a boss.
The bag thing irks me... I usually tuck my things under me or hold them when more people try and sit down. I only occupy an extra space if the space is pretty empty. Manspreading I thought guys did because it was more comfortable for their balls. I have seen it as a dominance thing, but in most cases I just don't think thats why.
As someone who has had to travel 2 buses and 2 book bags every moring at 6 am for 3 and a half school years just to get to school i say that some people dont care why the girl sitting while their standing has 2 bags in the seat next to them and for all they care they can put their things on their lap and on the floor because whoever it is that keeps muggin you obviously needs the seat more than you or your things do. Same goes for guys, girls, young, middle aged and older
Both are just as bad but for shebagging, if the woman does have a giant bag that can't be set on her lap then whatever. As long as she doesn't get an attitude if you ask her to move it.
For manspreading, if a guy complies and tries to bring in his knees, that's great! But if he just sits down and bashes his knees into someone elses, then wtf?
All in all, don't make it illegal-that's pretty petty, just make it something that society frowns upon.
Oh and what about making everyone learn Bankokot? (We play it at our High School). Its game where you ask a guy: "Whats the capital of Thailand"? Before he can answer you shout Bankokot istead of Bangkok (kokot is rude for penis in czech republic...) and you punch him in the nuts... Its fun. Go for it. Or maybe dont be a fag and just say fuck off to feminazis?
I find the whole discussion to be a good sign. To focus on the correctness of men positioning their legs obviously indicates that world hunger, social/political and individual justice, environmental pollution, overpopulation, climatic changes/adaptions, poverty, health issues, racism, human rights and such are all settled for good. We now have time for the little things.
No manspreading doesn't exist.
Anyone who can't understand that men have testicles and have to sit with their legs wider open than women should be given a course bag of sand and itching powder to be put between their legs and see how long they can sit like women do.
I don't know if this is supposed to be common knowledge or not, we guys have a ballsack between our legs. A very sensitive ballsack. It's not impossible for us to keep our legs together, but it's not comfortable. Also, it doesn't use a separate sitting spot, compared to shebagging.
No, we have penises, it hurts to push our legs against them
No it shouldn't. If you pay for a seat you should be allowed to spread your knees the full width of the seat.
