Girls: How would you feel if a guy cried in front of you after you rejected him?

I once knew this guy who told me he cried in front of a girl in response to her rejecting him. His reasoning was he no longer valued the girl's opinion of him since she had just rejected him. So when people said that the girl would look down on him or view him in a negative way, he said he didn't care cause to him it didn't matter since she had rejected him before that.

So girls, how would you feel if a guy cried in front of you after you rejected him? For the record, I'm not this way, and I'm often told I show too little emotion.

its just water, the feelings would be what they were whether the tears fell or not. everyone has dif thresh-hold for not crying. I don't cry doesn't mean I don't care- my step[father cries easily.. just whatever happens, I would not be weirded or feel extra guiltt. how you feel is how you feel id you are not feeling someone it is no more your fault than theirs, you simply are not.

I'd feel bad for him, but at the same time, I'd be pretty weirded out. When the feelings aren't mutual, and especially when you don't actually know the other person that well, the notion of the other person being attached enough to you to cry over rejection is strange and pretty unwelcome. I'd be worried the crying would turn into something more extreme.

I would think "WTF I'm glad I turned this guy down". I would get scared and wonder if he'd end up stalking me or trying to assault me afterward. Sorry but men who can't control their emotions and are overemotional scare me. I wouldn't even cry in front of a guy that rejected me.

Hearing that about the guy makes me sort of cringe. On one hand, I guess I feel bad for him but crying the very moment he heard "no" is sort of scary for me to think about, for some reason lol

One time a guy asked me out when I had a boyfriend and he literally looked like he was about to cry. It made me feel terrible ):

I would probably feel terrible and try to comfort him, even if he rejected this I would still at least offer a tissue. Your friend has my sympathy.
