Have you ever noticed another guy staring at you in the gym showers or the locker room? How did it make you feel?

In the locker room after my gym class i noticed this guy whom I felt was always staring at me. He gets dressed really slowly so he's always there the entire time. I guess i don't know why he's so slow, I don't want to be the one with the wandering eyes.
This last week he was showering next to me and he touched me, then just smiled and pretended like it was an accident. Based on where he touched me, I have a hard time seeing how it was an accident.
I really didn't care about his staring at me. In a way I felt kind of sexy just thinking "that guy must really like seeing me naked" He's not having an erection or masturbating. Just doing a lot of looking.
The touching me seems over the line however. I was shampooing my hair when he did it. It was more a caress than just an incidental touch.
FYI. I don't know him but he's around the same age as me and we are both adults. (College students) So there isn't a molestation issue. I'm even considering involving any authorities

The looking I'm not very worried about. I'm naked. I can't control where he looks or whatever might be going on in his head.
I have to draw the line at the touching. I can't have that.

In college the dorm building I lived in had one bathroom at the end of the hall with a single room with a pole with 8 shower heads around it. I noticed some people checking me out, but it never bothered me. If anything I found it flattering.

This happened to me a number of years ago. I would go to the gym and I have to admit, I am not one to get dressed. I tend to be a bit casual about being naked while I shave - assuming that I shaved at the gym, which I only did if I had gotten a late start from home.

Anyhow, I noticed that a guy would seem to stare at me. I didn't actually think much of it and even smiled at him and, if he was close by, would say things like "How's it going?" or maybe hold a brief conversation with him.

Then one day he finally said, "I hope you don't mind me saying this, but you are f*****g hot." I laughed and thanked him and told him that my girlfriend agreed with him. Funny thing is that it was actually kind of flattering. To be attractive to one sex is great, but to both?

Strictly speaking, the staring is rude, but you can overlook it. The touching is a bit of another matter. Clearly, he is ineptly trying to show you that he is attracted to you, so it is not I think, given that you are no risk in a public place, something I would call in the authorities to deal with. A simple, "please don't do that" should do the job.

If not, then you can amp it up. As it is, you can at least be social. Make the effort to chat casually as I did. The guy who was staring at me became a casual acquaintance. Any time we saw each other we would chat - and I figured that if I was naked it was a bonus for him, flattering in a weird way for me.

That said, otherwise, you might have yourself a date or at least sex if you are inclined that way. Given that this question is a bit dated, how did it work out?

I made a terrible mistake.
I decided to ignore it/laugh it off. During class, we got to know him and he seemed like an ok dude. He was talking more and becoming part of the group.
However he kept it up in the locker room. When I would make conversation he was constantly staring at my midsection. It no longer bothered me, it doesn't affect me where his eyes go. At least someone likes to see me naked. There is plenty of others he could choose to stare at.

Here's where I fucked up, my stupid mouth told one of the other guys who then spread it around. Then they started making comments which turned into harassment and then just outright bullying him. It was bad and I couldn't turn it around. He was now being called princess. He couldn't take it anymore and dropped the class. Never seen him again. It wasn't at all what I intended, but was caused by me

Well, first. don't be too hard on yourself. Your intention was not to hurt him and it was not as if you set out to do so. It was an honest mistake and I have to say, in this day and age, to have people act the way those other people did is surprising. You could not have known.

Second, if possible, try to find him and tell him what happened and apologize. Tell him that while - I assume - that you are hetero, that you think he's good guy, you are sorry for what happened and hope you can remain on cordial terms.

You made, as I say, an honest error and your only moral obligation is make amends and extend a hand in friendship to alleviate the suffering of another human being. Suffering that you inadvertently started.

Again, there was no malice on your part - I assume. (As I was partly joking in my own answer, it is kind of flattering to find that both sex think you are hot.) You could not have predicted what happened. All you can do is provide comfort and companionship to a fellow human being.

If you can no longer be in touch with him, then chalk it up to experience and lessons learned and just remember in the unlikely event that such a situation should ever arise again. You can't un-ring the bell, as it were. All you can do is go forward and try to do better.

So far as I can tell, you are a good guy who acted with no malice and were just a bit careless. You failed to see how others might treat this guy. That, as I say was a bit careless but an honest mistake. Don't beat yourself up over it. Just be sure to learn the lesson, make amends if you can, and move on.

We all make mistakes. You were not the first guy to do so.

never happened in the locker rooms. but usually there's these odd breed of weird dudes at my gym, they don't dress gay so i assume they're not but who knows... they follow me all over the gym, they never approach or say anything, just follows me around endlessly, always just sits or stands a few feet away from me and stares at me, they never really do anything or even exercise at all. doesn't matter if i move to the opposite side of the gym, upstairs, downstairs, cardio section, free weights sections, they always pop up near me within 1 minute. there was one time that this guy was playing with his penis behind me while i was doing high bar squats around August. everytime i squat down i see him playing with himself in the mirror in front of me. reported him to management and he got kicked out.

there's nothing much that can be done about the awkwardness between me and those who stares. as they're also paying members, and they never made contact with me in anyway, just can't report them for standing around me. i just choose to ignore them and pretend i don't see them, like between sets i'll just start the timer and be on my phone, read the news on my phone, or whatever until my next set.

Nah not really. My school had public showers (no dividers or anything) and we had 80 men utilizing 5 shower heads and were nut to butt because we had to have a complex system of showering as for all 80 of us we only had 15-20 minutes for shower time.
