My boyfriend likes to wear diapers. How do I help him to become more comfortable with this part of himself?

How can i help him become more comfortable with it? He's really worried I'll become disgusted with him and leave even though I've tried to reassure him I'm perfectly ok with it. I know its not a sexual thing its an emotional comfort thing. he's autistic and deals with anxiety and possibly depression. I just want him to be comfortable with this part of himself.

It's gross and weird and I doubt it'll make him feel better in the long term. The comfort it brings in the moment will only be undone by the shame he feels later.

Help him get to a point where he doesn't need them.

I dont want to take this away from him though. From what he's told me the only shame he feels about this is when his sister found out and she reacted horribly. he's worried about what others might say if they found out. If i try to take this from him I may lose him and thats something i dont want to happen. Its not a constant thing. Its something that he does when things get too stressful. Rather than binge eating or self harming he sleeps in a diaper. I feel like its a lot better than the alternatives.

Ok i get your point now. Im trying to do that. I think a big part of that will be helping him get back on his feet and on his own again. Living where he is now is really hard on his self esteem and mental health

I've considered doing that. I just want him to be happy and comfortable. He's always embarrassed when we talk about it. It helps with his stress and he's really stressed right now but wont/cant get any at the moment
