How do guys feel when ignored?

I have liked this guy since May. He strung me along for months. I kept asking him what he wanted and he would never answer me. He has called every single day. Often 2-3 times a day. I never call him. So, I assumed he was interested. But last week I finally got him to answer and he said we are just friends. He works 2 jobs and travels out of state every weekend to see his daughter. He doesn’t have time for dating.

I feel mad. Because he could have told me this months ago. Instead of stringing me along. He is still calling me every day though! And texting now too.. which is new. I can’t get myself go reply to him. I feel hurt. Despite ignoring him, he keeps calling..

How do guys feel when ignored?

I reached out to him and told him how I was feeling. He called me immediately and we had a good talk. Thanks for the advice!

tf is wrong with you just text that poor guy explaining what is going on in your head and then ignore him if you want but purely ignoring someone and never saying why is absolute torture at least for me

Sounds like he likes you but can't commit right now. He did tell you that. Ignoring him is mean and uncalled for. If you dont want to talk with him just yell him that

We barely recognise when we're being ignored. It hardly registers. We barely notice.

I know it’s mean to ignore him. I just feel hurt. I liked him so much.. and after months of wanting him, it stings to be rejected. I even asked him why he even continued to talk to me.. He just told me if I didn’t want him to, he wouldn’t. I couldn’t tell him that though. I still care a lot
