So many men on gag claim that it is so easy to spot a transwomen and yet a quick youtube search for "he didn't know i was trans" shows a ton of stories of guys making out with the transwomen and chasing them only to find out they were born male later.

Truthfully though I 100% believe that the doctors who perform these operations should have their medical licenses seized from them. Yes this may seem extreme and hateful, and I admit it. However I justify it with the fact that no sane human being would want truly want to switch genders. The though of wanting to do this is just completely insane. You are born as a gender dependent on your chromosomes, no plastic surgery can change your DNA.

Let's see.
Most men do not encounter trans people. It is a very improbable event for the average guy. to find one in their usual life. This is also kind of true for gay people. We interact with a limited amount of people and the subset of this people where we get to that level of personal involvement is even lower.

This mean that for most part our contact with trans people is from the media. I think that men are indeed quite apt at detecting trans people in videos and pictures. This is especially since most of them are not as genuinely women looking, as even the one in the video which is not very convincing either.

Now the video talks about encounters in real life. These will be more problematic. Say you go to a bar, you have a few drinks and you start socializing. The dynamic is different and a guy may even start to ignore weird signs because "chicks are weird anyway" and he wants to get laid. To sum it up they have impaired senses and a willingness for self deceit.
Another situation is hooking up on dating apps where the trans person doesn't point it out or the guy didn't pay attention. Again here the guy will be sure of them being female and be ready to ignore signs.

TL:DR Men rarely encounter trans women. Men can tell difference in videos and photos quite well. Since men have low exposure in real life and want to get laid they will be subject to confirmation bias and impaired judgement when encountering a convincing trans woman.

Why do all trans people think they are passable? For many, it is clearly obvious. So guys are just saying in general. For sure, there will always be transgenders out there that are 100% opposite looking. Also, for guys who are into genuinely women, they don't want to be with a "man" or find themselves attracted to a "man" because of being homophobic and make bold statements like they can always point one out.

There is more than one answer to this question. First, there are guys who say they can easily spot any trans woman because they are just trying to be macho. Then there are guys who say they can easily spot any trans woman because they are unaware that some are impossible to spot. The truth is, most can be spotted by the average man, but there are a small percentage that cannot.

I think it just depends on how long they've been transitioning for, like pre or mid hormones its relatively easy to tell (unless she has fairly feminine features before hand) but after a few years it becomes much harder to discern without... A full inspection😂
