Is it weird that my boyfriend sends selfies and pictures of himself to other girls?

I noticed the other day my boyfriend sent a selfie of himself to another girl on his phone. He always tells me I can take his phone from him and look through it cause he has nothing to hide. But what I don’t get is that why would he send a selfie of himself and random pictures of where he is to another girl?

That is weird and I feel it is being really disrespectful to his relationship with you and I would question if he and this girl are really friends or is there something more going on with them
