Just curious. Do guys preen themselves around girls they like even when those girls are not physically attractive?

Chances are, if a boy likes a girl, she is pretty.
But yes, I would think a lot of boys only preen themselves around girls who are physically attractive. It reminds me of birds, preening themselves. :-))
