Filters can be fun, I get it, I do. But it takes away the natural beauty that my boyfriend would like to see of me. Thinking about it, if he were to send me pics of himself with these face filters, I'd feel weirded out. If he sent me loads of selfies, I'd find him self absorbed with his looks.
In my opinion, any girl over the age of 21 who likes to send pictures with filters is holding on to her childhood and that is a warning sign. It is like a 30 year old woman who has her bed covered with stuffed animals. By itself, it would not be the kiss of death but I would have my eyes open for other possible signs of immaturity.
Is it really that deep though? I do feel silly because I'm an adult and a professional. But I don't think it's that serious. An excessive amount, maybe.
If it is an isolated little bit of "childishness," I would certainly indulge that. I think that when a couple is good together, they should be able to let their guard down and "play" or do some "childish" things. A few months ago, I bought my girlfriend a pair of bunny slippers and she wears them around the house, but I know that she is not immature.
I also have a sense that you are a responsible young woman and I would not think of you as immature just because of filters on your pictures. But if I didn't know anything about you, I might be more suspicious of you being immature. As I said, that one fact by itself wouldn't be a deal breaker but I would be en garde for other signs of immaturity.

I like to see the girl's pretty face without all that stuff getting in the way. I think it's funny sometimes if it's very humorous and extreme and good for a laugh, but I usually like things much better without filters. As for immaturity, I'm immature too in at least some ways, so I don't mind from that angle as long as there's maturity in the cases where it counts most.
We only use them with my cousin when we feel like beeing silly. I don't keep the pictures though, let alone posting them online or sending them to someone else
Whatever floats your goat, but it did take about 18 years off of your age. In my opinion, you look better just the way you are. I'd leave the filters for those who need them. :)

Well I just take these for the purpose of this question. I really only do the cutesy filters with my daughter. An over abundance of selfies is pretty pretentious, but I have to admit I felt cute when I took these. Thank you for your response, as always.
Lol, so you're saying i was right in the first place? 90% of the women on dating websites have at least 1 photo with one of these filters and it just covers up the person i'm trying to look at so i think i've become conditioned to not liking them

I don't think most guys will like that... some might think they're cutesy, and maybe they are, for a thirteen year old. Other than that, they're annoying, and hide what your real face looks like.

I'm sorry, but they're ugly, overused and immature... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Plus, the photos always have a horrible colour and no sharpness at all.
They might've been cute/funny the first time, but not now.
My professional coworkers would think I'd lost my mind. My sister would say I was attention seeking. I'm not sure what my friends would say, since this is rather out of character for me. Lol
I think it's cool if a girl can be silly and playful like that sometimes. Not all the time because then it would get annoying, but if it's only sometimes then it is actually cool.
Now and then, not every minute. I don't link it to maturity, I think is more about personality. There are people who always have a good sense of humour.
I hate those filters. It's generic and lame, and I typically see women who use it as attention seeking. It's also overused, which makes it annoying to see over and over again.
I personally don't mind, as ling as it is in moderation.
If more than 1/10 pictures are with filter, miss me with that shit.

It's annoying enough that women are narcissistic and wear a mask of makeup to hide their real face... putting filters on is even more obnoxious. It's the same as the garbage duck lips pose that women think is sexy but makes them look retarded.

I'm pretty sure most adult males would MUCH prefer an unfiltered photo of your gorgeous self. If anything, you can spice it up with some cleavage or a nip slip! ;-)
But to answer your question. It doesn't phase me either way. I will say this, the more natural the look the better. So I love it when I can see her true beauty. Filters act like makeup to me
