Anonymous(30-35)+1 yGenerally no, but there may be some trends within each group that match this assumption. But no, I've known liberal and leftist men who have a variety of expressions.
Also, would like to point out the toxic masculinity in this undertone. Soft vs tough, masculine vs weak. Here you didn't even bother to hide the fact that you're implying femininity = weakness, which is likely an accurate projection of how you view women. And the idea that a man has to be tough opposed to soft is so dehumanizing and results in many of these types of men being very soft actually - so out of touch with themselves and their own feelings that they often become sensitive in a negative way and passive aggressive. At least the further left you go, there's more dialogue challenging these idiotic gender polarizations and opening up more space for men to be full humans who can be all of these things: masculine, have weak moments, feminine (because lets be real, thats what you really meant by weak), tough, and soft. Who the fuck wants to be dating these stoic men who are emotionally closed off and so tough that vulnerability is a struggle and their strangers to even themselves? I'll keep my ass on the left where I belong. Do not want.10 Reply

Anonymous(18-24)+1 yAt least with white guys. Liberal white guys are usually the kind of guys who want a girlfriend to pegg them with a strap on or want to be cuckolded by a well hung black guys. Like most hispanic guys actually have conservative values as do a lot of black Christian men.

+1 yIf we can make it about left vs right instead of "liberal" vs. "conservatives", I don't think it's always so clear cut and dry, but I'd lean towards "yes", at least slightly, and on average.
At least I find the right-leaning philosophy more aligned with classically "masculine" ideals emphasizing individual accountability and responsibility (and sometimes to the point of being callous towards those in needy).
Left-leaning philosophy tends to appeal more to sensitivity and emotions (but sometimes to the point of neglecting the individual responsibility of those in need).
For example, if someone is overweight, a classically "masculine" view of it might emphasize individual responsibility and say that it's their fault. It emphasizes their freedom to choose otherwise. "Man up and put down the snacks, take responsibility for yourself", or something to this effect. Whereas perhaps a more sensitive ("feminine?") approach might say it's not their fault, blame the availability of junk food, and call this a disease. You tend to see this type of dichotomy on issues like these between the left and the right.12 Reply- +1 y
[...] sometimes to the point of being callous towards those in [need]
- +1 y
At least classically masculine values tended to put accountability at the top, sometimes even to a form of "hyper-accountability". Like a bully victim might be seen in such a masculine context as needing to learn how to stand up for himself and learn how to fend for himself in a harsh world. Whereas a more maternal, feminine type of view might want to go on anti-bullying campaigns and try to reform the bulk of society without reforming the victim.
I find this dichotomy again between left and right. I think those who believe the bully victim needs to learn how to stand up for himself will tend to learn more right, while those who favor anti-bullying campaigns will tend to lean more left.
Similar case with views about the rich and the poor. Right-leaning finds competence in the rich but might be callous towards the poor. Left-leaning finds only corruption in the rich and sees the poor as helpless victims. The truth is usually somewhere in the middle, but I suspect those who adhere to very masculine values will tend to generally find more appeal in a right-leaning philosophy that emphasizes freedom and individual responsibility.

+1 yI hate to generalize, as these are just stereotypes, but... yeah I think by and large it's true. I mean, I'm a Liberal and I consider myself pretty masculine but I know a LOT of Liberal dudes who aren't.
One of my friends is an engineer who likes tea and cats and toe shoes and calls himself a Feminist and all that shit. Another is straight up gay and swishy at that. Another is a stay at home dad, which I think is pretty noble but it's not what would be considered traditionally masculine. Another has a lot more female friends than male friends and he isn't screwing any of them. I have several friends who are just fat nerds, and one guy who I suspect is a 40 year old virgin who relates to cats better than he does people.
Then again, I have other Liberal friends who aren't like that at all. One is a Federal Marshall in Arizona. One is a firefighter in Alaska part of the year and a lumberjack the rest of the time. My BIL put himself through law school working as a Sheriff's Deputy in Indiana and he does MMA just for fun on the side. When I was growing up, my mom's best friend was a gay Liberal dude who lived in San Francisco after doing a couple tours in Vietnam as a Navy SEAL. Another family friend is a Liberal and was an Army Ranger in 'Nam. Another is a scientist from Tennessee who has more guns than your average police station, and I have two more Liberal friends who are active duty Army - one is an MP in Germany and the other does God knows what in Iraq right now.
So I guess, at least for me, it's kinda all over the map.00 Reply
+1 yYes, often it's like that. But there's always exceptions. It also depends on the country. In Scandinavia where the majority are liberals there aren't any differences and there's very mixed among the liberals, but abroad I can definitively see this tendencies.
It's because of conservative people tends to want to keep old traditions like gender roles while liberal people are open to try out new things. In the past men were supposed to be masculine and women feminine, but nowadays the norm is gradually changing and the liberal ideology is part of the change.10 ReplyNot really. They present it differently though. Like conservative men who arenât very masculine tend to drift around in khaki pants blending in with the walls.
Contrary to what anon below suggests Iâm pretty confident cuckold fetishes are more a think for conservatives. Several people in trumps circle are known to be into it. Obviously still a minority. But itâs conservatives who are obsessed with the fetish and bring it up alllll the time.
Anyway there are masculine guys who are either.00 Reply

14 Reply- +1 y
This question has nothing to do with politics, but rather attitudes and personalities of conservative and liberal men.
- +1 y
The thing is lots of men say things and act a certain way to make you think theyâre masculine, but their actions are very weak. Like Trump for example appeals to the mentality that he is tough and masculine just because he speaks his mind but heâs also a weak man who canât handle criticism.
- +1 y
But Trump isn't a real traditional conservative man and never has been.
- +1 y
True
+1 yAbsolutely. Look at conservative values and liberal values. Anyone who says otherwise is delusional. Modern liberal men are faries for the most part.

+1 yHard to say if one is more masculine than the other but I will say trump is more on the masculine side. obama seemed fair when it came to marriage like he sees his wife as his equal. trump on the other hand I dont think he sees Melania as his equal

12 Reply- +1 y
Its the opposite. Conservative men attract women easily because of their masculine energy, liberals tend to be Incels and too sacred to approach women much less show sexual advancement.
- +1 y
Maybe itâs different in the south, liberals have less sexual morals. Sleeping around and abusing women like in Hollywood in my opinion shows more manliness.
+1 yYes but the liberal men look better, and they are generally more intelligent. They are against radical islam (erdogan) and hijab like me

- +1 y
I'm a radical social conservative, but I don't mistreat women nor am I rude to people at all.
I just strongly believe men should act as masculine traditional men and women as feminine traditional women all terms of conduct and none of all this confusing gender identity crisis etc. - +1 y
Doubt it. And all liberal men donât nearly think that way. Which is why they are better.
- +1 y
Liberal men especially the ones of today are cowards.
Liberal men are the types of dudes that let their country be taken from them from invaders without putting up a fight because they are freaking beta pussies.
Moreover, they are typically scared to speak their mind and are PC fanatics lest they offend others even if what they are saying it's true, among other little pussy and whiny behavior, attitudes and twisted world views they typically have. - +1 y
Really? Pretty sure conservative men are the cowards as yâall canât accept change. It ainât go back to the old days. Pretty sure liberals outnumber conservatives too.
- +1 y
If a civil war broke out us real conseratives will slaughter the pussy liberals like nothing even if they outnumber us.
- +1 y
I seriously doubt that. From what Iâve seen and heard most conservative men are weak and ugly. Who have problems with women. Not surprised at all that itâs that way. There is no way to âact like a manâ or âact like a womanâ. âTraditionalâ is just guys working and dying while women stay in the house having kids. Boring af.
- +1 y
I don't support women staying in the house all day watching kids.
I like my woman to work hard and earn her money and make something great out of her in life or career.
Some conseratives are weirdos and like to boss around women for the heck of it or see them as less than, but I'm not one of those types.
Yes, personally, I love for my woman to be very feminine and submissive to me, but I'm also understanding, considerate of people's feelings and cool as a person.
