Why are men generally more conservative than women?

In a word, insecurity. There is a lot to be insecure about and men tend to take things to extremes, and so are more prone to dwelling on those insecurities. It is sadly not "manly" to ask to be told that it's okay to have vulnerabilities, even if those vulnerabilities are an unavoidable fact of life. So, men tend to wish that all of culture was warped into a shape that denies the existence of those vulnerabilities and insecurities.

For example, someone who inherits wealth. This person did nothing to earn it. And this person must know that if they were not born rich they could never have become so rich on their own. That is a fact of life. And it's an insecurity that other people might not conflate wealth and ability. So, wealthy people have reshaped our media landscape such that rich people are exalted as saviors instead of hanged as thieves.

A more common example is racial anxieties. I would be the first to criticize the left for not approaching the issue honestly. The fact is the alleviation of racial anxieties is not automatic. We adapt to the local culture we are exposed to as children. If that culture includes a mix of races, great, but not everyone's does and it would be extraordinary clumsy to try to force everyone to. Racial anxieties are a fact of life and men don't want to admit their insecurities. But this is compounded by the left calling those insecurities racism - and that, in turn, is compounded by the right saying that the term racism is overused and thus nothing can be racist, but I digress. It is easy for people raised around other races to call these insecurities racist, because, to them, it would be racist to still have those anxieties despite knowing in the soul of their inner child that other races have instincts and limitations identical to themselves. But it is "regionist" to not understand that it's a natural thing to adapt to but it is not a natural thing to just be told and that fixes everything.

Meanwhile, the sort of men who are anxious about other races, and who get mad when that anxiety is called racism and that they are a bad person for experiencig it, dont have their anxieties addressed in a meaningful way, instead shrouding it in rage. So they get more afraid instead of less and so want a strong man who will round up other races and expell them or, if all else fails, say it's okay to shoot other races if they get scared or mad.

Keep in mind none of this set out to describe conservatives, just the effects of insecurity. And yet there aren't many examples of conservatives this doesn't perfectly describe..

Well I'm very left leaning in general but feminists, people who want to change which words are acceptable to say every week, the constant victim and privilege narratives etc. etc. These things pushed me away from the left.

But in other ways I'm still on the left. I believe in strong regulations to make sure companies don't destroy the environment, exploit workers, cheat customers privatize the profits but put costs on the public etc. I believe in investing a lot in infrastructure and government services to make a country flourish. I believe in education. Ibelieve in having a strong social safety net. I believe in having affordable and good quality healthcare for everyone. I believe in a progressive tax system that makes the rich pay more so the government can be funded and provide all these good things.

I've been left leaning my entire life and when I did a test to see what party most represents my views in Switzerland I got the most left leaning party the green party as a result. But on some things I just can't agree at all with the left or some modern parts of the left. I don't think the entire left endorses these people but that's just where they claim to be.

I think men get pushed to the right because the left always claims to reresent everyone and be for equality but never mentions any problems that affect men except basic economic issues. On everything else they're completely silent or men just get called the problem directly. So men go to the other side even though the right screws over working class people all the time I understand why men would vote for them.

NO, WHAT THE F—K 🤣🤣 Who's giving you these insane ideas? Conservative Themselves? Where? Porn Consumption is conservative? Not being able to fight is conservative? Not being able to afford all the bills for an entire family is conservative? Not being able to provide & protect an entire family, is conservative? Having low testosterone is conservative? My Father was all these things, and my mother was the homemaker. I have yet to see this in the 20th century in America. The ModernMan surely wants a Conservative Woman. But they themselves aren’t conservative whatsoever. They need to seize all porn consumption and have a high level of testosterone if they ever want to qualify as conservative. We’re surrounded by clowns 🤡 who can’t even be in a physical fight.

Since the goverment has more and taken on the role of husband/provider naturally women tend to gravitate more towards the politicians that promise them more.

This is why you see married women are more conservative but unmarried women are much less so.

Men in general are more self-reliant wanting to be the provider themself. They see the goverment and said politicians as in the way if not competition as it is on the lower income population.

Which is why you see the collapse in family starting among said population in the 1960's and for good reason, Government was paying said women more in welfare to be unmarried than married.

Unfortunately for the population children need more than mere money from the father and as the father was devalued and driven out they lost the stabilizing disciplinary force leading to the typical delinquent problems of fatherless. As well as a general collapse in birth rates.

Our civilization as as such dying literally, and won't be around to continue such policies too much longer.

Conservatism tends to have logical thinkers. Liberalism tends to have emotional thinkers. Neither one is innately worse or better than the other. But I think each does have its downfalls if you rely on one or the other too heavily. Logic with no emotionality isn't any better than feeling without any thinking. That said, men are well known by science, biology and psychology, to be more logical and rational thinkers, whereas women tend to be more emotional thinkers. And the parties have (in the modern age) divided themselves that way. Conservatives typically want you to think about the logic of a situation. Liberals want you to think about how someone else is feeling. Both have merit, but not by themselves. Learn to think outside of the two-party system. Learn to use both your brain and your heart.

It’s how men and women are geared. Men have a very logic merit based thought process whereas women are more in tune with their empathetic and emotions. While both are needed in a society for it to flourish, when a society focuses on one over the other an imbalance occurs.

Currently we live in a very feminine society. Emotion and empathy are valued over everything else and unfortunately as a result people can be manipulated easier. Look at all the hoaxes that have occurred over the last several years and resulted in fierce backlashes based on incomplete information or outright lies.

The emphasis on diversity and equity over everything else has resulted in a lot of controversies, tension and loss of faith in our institutions, governments and businesses. Men and women both are now doubling down on mainly ideological lines and it’s fracturing society.

Naturally, I would say women are more for inclusivity and men are more exclusive. Women see other people's problems and feel empathy, and men feel more sympathy. Therefore, that is why you are more likely to see women being social justice warriors because they want people to know certain groups have problems and need to be changed. While men are more focused on the general population and focusing on certain issues rather than making changes for the minority.

Leftism appeals more to women because it's marketed with feelings rather than facts, and women are more guided by their feelings. The conservatives (and I'm talking about the people, not so much the politicians) are much more based on facts, logic, and reality, which generally appeals more to men.

Well, I think men are more tribalistic than women. Women want to look different from their friends men prefer to look the same, part of the reason armies with their masculinity have uniforms. Thus men look to the traditions and authority figures of their tribe as a source of inspiration, whereas women prefer to be more independent.

Women nowadays have been brainwashed by the allure of feminist ideology, basically acting any way no matter how undesirable, without any consequences whatsoever. It's like being a kid in a candy store. Also, leftist ideology puts less importance on men and their desires and problems. Men generally like feminine, non promiscuous women, but women seem to enjoy the opposite nowadays no matter how men feel.

I think women are just more gullible and easily persuaded by emotions than men who are more persuaded by logic than emotions. So the left is able to capitalize on this as a propaganda mechanism to manipulate women with emotional appeals.

Because all the left does is tell them that they are the root cause of all the world's problems so, as a result, they go to people who tell them that they shouldn't be punished for things that they aren't individually responsible for.

Some will go as far as to say that the whole "men in power = women oppressed" was likely false to begin with to be used as a method of gaining power they didn't earn through sympathy that they also didn't earn.
