Why Do Men Prefer Traditional/Conservative Women, Over Liberal Women?

Is it because that is how it's supposed to be? Is it because a woman who is a stay at home mom is ideal than a working mom? Is it because traditional/conservative women are more feminine, wife material, and mother material? And men if you prefer the modern/liberal woman over a traditional/conservative female what is your reasoning and why?

Also, I would mention that I am traditional when it comes towards marriage and family. Meaning, I will have a career at first, however, once my first or second child is born, I would like to stay home and care for them and for my husband.

It goes a lot deeper than this but a big part of it is conservative woman tend to respect men more whereas liberal woman tend to act like spoiled privileged ungrateful bitches. Don't get me wrong a concretive woman can come with her own problems too because extremes in either direction but I'm so sick of the fighting I hate them both now.

Liberals are annoying bitchy naggy, shaming, word police that dox and harass you for disagreeing. MAGA are idiots destroying the country's economy whop put a fascist in power that wants to be a dictator not to mention they bitch and moan as much as liberals do. Conservative woman who don't go too far right though tend to at least see the value men have to offer where as liberals are so self-focused and absorbed with their concept of "Rights and freedom" (Most of which is brain dead) and me, me, me mentality.

They insult and rip men down and say things like "Men are useless and we no longer need them because we can use science to reproduce artificially so we should kill them all" I'm not saying this is a common sentiment but it's common enough I've seen it multiple times. They ruined many of our favorite video games and they've been insulting and shaming male gamers for years just because we don't want modern day politics shoved into our source of escapism.

When I'm playing dragon age I don't want to do multiple missions helping a non binary deamon thing come out to their disapproving parents. I want to fight darkspawn, adventure and kill evil things which is 99% of the people. If that wasn't the case Dragon Age Viel Guard, Dustborn, and Concord wouldn't have bombed worse than Nagasaki.

I don't mind adding representation to games, but it has to be diegetic to the world and story, or it kills the immersion of the story and objectively makes it worse. Not to mention the same people who shove these things in are talentless hack writers. Not to mention most of the time the representation is so shallow it's actual racist in my opinion because a lot of the time representation just means they make him black and "put a chick in it and make her gay" That's not representation, that's condescending self-righteous and white savior behavior.

Most of the time liberals are narcissistic hypocrites and that gets exhausting and is only attractive to toxic or mentally ill people such as other liberals. Further conservative woman are more interested in being a family because of it where as liberal woman are so focused on the me and not the family.

Nobody wants to marry or date someone who always chooses themselves. The right though encourages marriage and family while the left shows it as a way to oppress woman even when it isn't. Have you seen how much harassment and flak Trad wives get from "feminists" I guess woman only have the right to do what they want if it agrees with their world view.

Conservative woman also come with their own downsides and they get worse the farther right they are but from a man's perspective in many cases they are 1. Being valued 2. Being heard. 3. Being treated well partially because often times they've been raised in an environment that teaches them to value men. That said though often times that goes too far to the point they're grooming their daughter to basically be a servant from childhood.

in my opinion if you want a healthy relationship partner find a centrist because they're the only ones with enough compassion and sense for from both sides and both sides have things they're right about and both have things that they are wrong about. If you're in the center it lets you see the values and draw backs of both. I watch Fox, CNN, and independent media for my news because it's the only way you can figure out what are lies and what are truth. You have to hear every side of the story to make an informed decision.

I think there is two different extremes to this of people who just glamorize for instance the whole stay at home mom trad wife thing when a lot of these influencers aren’t stay at home moms. Many are working, are making money from influencing on social media, have their own merchandise they’re selling, being sponsored, etc. They’re podcasters and hosts of programs so take what they say as a grain of salt. People also don’t show you the parts of their lives that aren’t glamorous.

Someone can look great on social media and seem like they have the perfect life. While behind closed doors it’s full of abuse, affairs, and other things that the general public doesn’t see.

There are women who are stay at home moms because the husband makes a salary to support staying home. In fact it’s more beneficial then having a second paycheck if they wife’s making significantly less then her husband. It’s not because she wants a easy ride in life but because she genuinely loves her kids and husband. She works as hard if not harder then she would be working in a 9-5 job.

I don’t think people understand what the role of a house wife and stay at home mom really was. It’s narcissistic women who want a easy ride in life as well as narcissistic men who was power as well as control over someone who spoil the bunch.

You can spot these narcissists because as soon as this lifestyle isn’t as glamorous as they thought it was they immediately take to social media to start doing nothing but bitching and complaining about it. When they see they don’t get to just blow their husbands money shopping, sitting by the pool, and doing whatever they want all day. Staying home and taking care of children means working. Especially if the husbands on deployments or business for days, weeks, and in some cases longer on end.

You are changing diapers, cleaning messes, giving baths, cooking 3 meals a day, doing the shopping, managing the bills, the money, planning things, making small repairs, mowing the lawn, especially if a man’s working 70 hours a week asking him to help around the house what does he get out of a relationship like that.

These relationships are supposed to work by both parents working equally as hard in separate roles. It’s not baking cookies, taking your kids to the park sitting around talking to other moms, and baking bread. Sure, that may be part of it but being a stay at home parent whose not a lazy freeloader is exhausting.

Now the men if a woman marries a man she loves and does all the things she should be doing as a wife and mom. But the man is controlling she has signed agreements saying that she has zero right to the money if she is divorced or widowed even at no fault of her own. If when she gets older and her man dumps her for a younger woman. She’s FUCKED. Years even decades of no work experience being thrown out with the kids with no alimony it’s going to be rough

People need to be in these relationships because they LOVE one another. Not because they want a free ride. Not because they want control and people of both sexes need to be EXTREMELY careful entering into these relationship.

All that glitters isn’t gold. There is a lot of misconceptions about “trad wives” that people tend to have.

Also, I have go agree. I should've mentioned that when they're little I'll stay home, however, when they get older I'll return back to the work force. Now I'm in school obtaining my master's degree in clinical mental health and with how the world is getting more digitalized and more and more therapy going toward the telehealth route I probably would be able to be a stay at home working mom.

I don't trust daycare and really wouldn't want any my kids going to daycare, plus daycare is getting extremely expensive, hence why we're probably slowly seeing an increase in stay at home moms.

But yes I do agree that there are some women that will stay at home that are well some can be lazy. Now in my opinion I kinda find it different if the women goes to school, obtain a degree, get a career, and become financially independent and have her own account (my mother schooled me on marriage and says it's extremely important for a woman to have her own bank account). However, there are some women that only go to school to receive what we like to call the MRS degree, meaning they only go to college to find a husband.

So you’re obviously not someone whose wanting to be lazy and have a free ride especially if you’re working form home but it may be difficult to be a mom all day and work from home so finding the balance is important.

I don’t necessarily trust daycare either there are some more trustworthy then others. Luckily when I was younger I stayed with my grandparents most of the day.

The lifestyle isn’t for everyone. Some people want something different from marriage and that’s okay. But there’s nothing wrong with what you want. I think the people who are bad apples spoil the bunch.

You can tell who they are because they get angry and defensive. Acting like because you’re calling out the bad eggs you’re bad mouthing all of them. When it’s the opposite by calling out the bad eggs and the good ones do the same thing. It makes them not looo so bad

I think prenups can be important. Not because someone plans on getting divorced but if something happens there is protection for BOTH partners. If it only protects one spouse that’s a bigger issue then not wanting one.

As for a man you don’t want a woman whose never worked for anything getting everything you have. But as for a woman you don’t want to be thrown out with zero work experience and absolutely no money. Basically you’re homeless for all intensive purposes. So that’s a important conversation that’s needs to be had. If someone gets defensive of wanting protections for both spouses that’s a issue.

This. The first sentence is the answer. It is nature, millions of years of evolution and biological, physical, mental and emotional differences between males and females that make them each suited for different (and complimentary) roles in the family. Nature designed them this way to create a strong family unit because that gives the species the best chance of survival. And survival is the most important mission of any living species.

So males and females are designed to be attracted to each other based on how well they can fulfill the natural roles nature intended for them.

"Traditional" in this case as in many cases is just another name for natural. These things become "traditional" over time for a reason. And no matter how much we may fanaticize otherwise, natural still prevails. Men are not women, and women are not men.
