i came across this old mytake earlier and as stupid and ridiculous as it sounds I gotta be honest and say that this isn't the first time I hear this.

I've heard multiple sources making such claims but they sound just plain ignorant, I mean how can your success in life determine what body part you find attractive in the opposite sex? anybody mind explaining this to me?

it sounds to me like the creators of this myth are just looking for an excuse to make women who lack boobs feel more confident while trying to shame men who do prefer boobs. anyways this map pretty much speaks for itself, it can be a coincidence that the vast majority of the well-developed nation in the world prefer boobs over butt while the opposite could be said about most 3rd world nations.

Statistically, men who are poorer like larger breasts. But I am not sure how drastic that is.
And the theory is that it is because fatter people are a signal to our subconscious that they are well off. So those who are more concerned with daily sustenance find them more appealing.
