Does the guy like me?

I’m in highschool. First time I met the guy he was quiet, closed off, and not wanting to talk to anybody. Especially people he isn’t friends with. Few weeks later he asks to work with me at least 3 times instead of his close friend. He stared at me everyday, every 5 minutes, and every week. He smiles a lot and looks at me in the eyes when we talk. I’ve been told in Snapchat when you send streaks boys typically don’t send their full face, and if that’s true the. He sends his face. He watched me closely when I talk to my friends. I also realized he treats me differently then to other girls. He’s more kind, sweet, and his voice is more deeper and he becomes more serious around me. I remember he once sent me a blue heart and he said that he thinks I’m nice and he enjoys talking to me. He usually responds right away and never leaves me on read. Over the past weeks he’s more open about his life to me and he’s more happy around me compared from the beginning. A couple times when I walk in the room he definitely stares at me. Then he’ll go back to his normal routine and not stare at anyone else. When I send him bad jokes he’ll laugh. I know for sure we r friends.. I just think that there is more happening then meets the eye... I’d love your thoughts and guidance. I’m not a direct, extrovert person so I’m pretty kept to myself as well.
