Guys, have you ever accidentally call your female friend baby?

I do it all the time. But it depends on the situation and what we are talking about. It's not a form of disrespect it's more like an expression. My female friends have called me boy, fool, dummy, goofball, etc, etc. But like i said it depends on our conversation and it's just an expression of our reaction to what we are talking about. I hardly ever call even my girlfriend babe or baby. I prefer to call women and girls who mean to me in my heart, my love or love. Because it is an affection for them. And you will see that in my responses in their questions. They in turn have words of affection for me but it never really is babe or baby. I really don't think those two words are really being used anymore or maybe in certain people we just don't like using it.

I have accidentally called a female friend by an endearing name, simply because were were so close, and I was comfortable around her. It didn't mean I was wanting to get romantically involved with her.

My friend called me daddy once. I didn't know if I heard her correctly until I saw her cheeks all red and then I knew I heard correctly. It happened on more than one occasion and she said it just slips out.
