Probably would bother me. The word babygirl has been too sexualized to be used platonically (excluding parent/child relationships). That would be like me calling a male coworker daddy and then tryna act oblivious to why my partner would be uncomfortable with it while also using some b. s excuse like “I view him as a father figure”😂shit would sound ridiculous. Even if you didn’t mean for it to be interpreted in a sexual manner doesn’t mean it didn’t make the women you said it to feel some type of way.
