Probably would bother me. The word babygirl has been too sexualized to be used platonically (excluding parent/child relationships). That would be like me calling a male coworker daddy and then tryna act oblivious to why my partner would be uncomfortable with it while also using some b. s excuse like “I view him as a father figure”😂shit would sound ridiculous.
