In general, that's a sign of interest from shy people. Even though I'm super outgoing, I will be shy in that situation (really attracted but haven't gotten to know her)

It might just be quite the opposite. Because guys usually when attracted to someone they tend to say some silly stuff that might push girls away. So to avoid that some guys just stay quiet
