I have a coworker I work with that I've known for 4 years but have only worked with him for 6 months and I told him months ago that I liked him. He never responded one way or the other. The only respond he did was a shocked emoji face on the comment of how I felt. He of course denied that it was intentional that it was a complete accident.
Since then for a few months after that him and I worked over nights together and he would most of the night just come in say something random then walk out. And one night he came in for his shift and was like you don't need to cry or you can stop crying now I am here now. So confused for sure. Then there was another night where he came back in from a call and he and I just looked into each others eyes and he never looked away I after 5 seconds looked away with a big smile and I believe to regain my attention back to him he started a conversation.
He never calls me by my real name its always little one. And he usually will only talk to me when we are alone when no one else is around.
Just a few days ago I came in for my 7am shift and he was still here as the next officer wasn't coming in until 8 and he came in here twice and both times had to look into the dispatch room where I was and I am sure the 2nd time when I turned my head to look at who was coming in he looked me straight in the eye and never turned away.
