Is russian/Ukraine men actually that bad?

So there's this guy that seems interested in me and it might happen something between us but a lot of my friends have doubts about him saying that Russian /Ukraine boys are not good for a relationship and all they care about is to use the woman and bla bla. which sounds so racist... What are your thoughts?

That really depends on the guy. I'm russian myself, so maybe I have a little more insight. I know some russian and ukrainians guys, who are very good candidates for a relationship, knowing from university. I also know some russian guys, knowing from homeland, who are certainly not the type you want a relationship with. So, if he's a student at foreign university, it's almost sure he's a nice guy, but if he is in Russia in the moment, that could be anything and if he is not in Russia, but not a student, that could be again anything.

It is true that many Russian men hold on to more or less traditional gender roles (like taking care of the household being the woman's job alone) but I can assure you that not all of them think like that.
