Guys, what are you looking for in online dating app?

I'm asking because 90% of the guys that match with me on a online dating app asking me if I want to have sex with him. I mean, we haven't even met. He didn't know who I am, how do I look, or how is my personality..

I'm trying not to judge or anything. It's just happened so many time with me. I'm not saying that I didn't want to have sex or anything, I am not looking for it specifically. I am attracted to him, obviously, but not jumping into sex right away.

The profiles that I like varies. Some did mention that he is looking for sex friends or one night stand, I excluded them from the counts. But out of 10 guys that didn't put it in their profile, 9 actually asked me about it.

So my question is, what do you looking for in online dating?

Perspective varies. As a women it is easier to get a match. As a man one gets a match like a about 1 in a month if he is above average. And he is saying all day and night.

From your perspective, you might get lots of match, so you have option and like to move slowly. In men, matching itself is a big step. There are some men who just like to go out with you for a movie or lunch date. That number is very low.

I see.. I didn't see it from man perspective. I didn't know men didn't get as much match. Well I did like various people, but only some of those matched chat me.. so I thought they found another girl they matched and like. Thank you for your reply

Yep, nailed it. 90% are looking for sex.
And the vast majority of women are looking for attention and validation, pretty much zero intention of ever actually meeting up with anyone, let along dating.

A dynamic combination of needs and desires, eh?

Dating apps are for losers. The people that can't form normal relationships with the people they meet IRL.

A friend of mine is on a site called Zoosk and it is just men wanting to have sex with her and sometimes not even that, some just want to do sexting.

I see. Well I find some who didn't ever talk about sex, but the chat died just like that. While those who I find fun and interesting to chat with ended up with asking for nudes or vcs. When I said no, they moved on to another girl that willing to.

I guess that is online dating? 😂

Relationship. But being a guy on dating apps makes you realise in 2 seconds how disadvantageous that environment is for a normal guy, even more that regular life. You realise "oh this sucks" and bail. Only the people looking for hookup and/or get attention easily stay on those things. It's a toxic degenerate environment.

Yeah, I agree some skins is okay.. but it ended up (mostly) with vcs and when I said no they will moving on to another girl that willing to.

I'm at some point where I had enough with this kind of exchange. That's is why I ask men intentions. If mostly did it bc of the sex thing, perhaps I used a wrong platform in looking for friends and relationship. Maybe dating online is just not for me.

I imagine it's hard to filter through people that lie, but you can still find people there for the right reasons. Also depends on which dating app you are using.
