Okay so to update I’ve thought I’ve noticed him looking at me too, but I’m not sure.

It's just him being friendly, and is s sign that he doesn't dislike you. But not enough to suggest romantic interest.

If you catch him looking or glancing at you for a brief second here or there, that could be a sign he likes you. You look up and he looks away, or you look over and he seems to not know where to look, that is a sign too.

But the key signs will only appear clearly if you talk to him.
