If a guy stalks your Instagram, does it mean that he is into you?

Recently I had been talking to a guy, but due to the lockdown we aren't able to see each other and have stopped talking. I have the feeling that he will reach out again when the lockdown is over and we can hang out, but I don't know. Today, he accidentally reacted to one of my Instagram story highlights (the story was from about a year ago), he later texted me to say "sorry, I didn't mean to send you that" and the laughing emoji, which means that he was looking through my profile, does that mean something?

hahaha yeah, it was a story highlight from a year ago and I haven't posted anything recently, so for that to happen he had to have been looking through my profile, there's no other way. As for the details, this is a guy I met on tinder and we went on a date and it was great, and he did seem interested in seeing me again, but then the lockdown came and it kinda fucked it up. We talked a little bit the first few weeks but as the lockdown started to get longer we started to lose contact, so yeah, I'm interested in him and id like to see him again after the lockdown, but I don't know what he's thinking because he's the one who started replying less and less.

oh alright. Well please don't feel like you're there to "bother" him. You can try check up on him. Maybe send him a "creepy" emoji - like the single eye emoji. If he ain't initiating anything, you can get the ball rolling first.

The thing is, i did message him first the last time, we talked onn and off for about a week and the he asked me something and i responded and asked him something back, and he hasn't responded or even opened it yet, that was a week and a half ago, so since he just so blatantly ignored me, i dont feel comfortable reaching out again and double texting in the process. I think I've done enough for him to know im interested, now the ball is on his court, because im not willing to chase someone that ignores me.

okay. So that's the kind of response as a guy (myself included) would say - "If they ain't texting me back, what's the sense of me reaching out and 'chasing'."

That's an easy way to just give up on the whole ordeal. You can choose this path if you want. People can say that's cop-out way to just give up.

HOWEVER, you still have lingering interests in him. You fancy him enough to even still think about him, even during this time of a crisis.

If you do reach out to him, you don't have to necessarily give him a long-winded message. Send him one emoji (of your choice) to him - if you can't find the words to start the conversation. For me, I'll just send the girl a single eye emoji - not the googly eye one. For me, I don't care how creepy I may come off. If they don't respond, I move on haha
