Guys, do find it off-putting when a lady posts bikini pics of herself on her snap story?

My friend posted a pic of both her and I to her snap story (she took a picture of me saying that I was back in our hometown to visit). We were at the pool, and when she took it I was siting on the edge of the pool in a bikini. I reposted her story to my own snap.

When I did, my boyfriend said that it bothered him because I looked “provocative” in the picture. My swimsuit was a push-up, but nothing else about it was terribly revealing. I feel bad, but I didn’t think it was so wrong.

Is this off putting?

No, it's not off-putting. In fact, it's typically quite, uh... on-putting, if you will, which is probably why your boyfriend doesn't want you to do so. That said, bikini pics on social media are a dime a dozen and I don't think he should be getting so upset that you posted one. It doesn't really make a difference in your relationship whether guys are checking you out, as long as you don't betray your boyfriend's trust by flirting with them or otherwise being too scandalous.
