What does it mean when a guy just sends back wordless selfies on snapchat?

What does it mean when a guy starts a conversation with you on snap chat, but doesn’t carry the conversation very well. He just sends back wordless selfies. Even when I send back a wordless selfie I get another one in return. Does that mean he wants to keep snapping or is he hinting that he’s over the conversation? If I was over it, I would just not respond to the wordless ones, yet he continues to snap back.
Also, when he doesn’t want to answer other things, he has no problem with leaving me on read so I know that’s not the problem.

When people send wordless selfies, most likely they’re not personal and also intended for a wider audience rather than just you. If that’s the case, he probably sees you as a friend, coz that’s what friends do
