Why does my boyfriend call me a little lamb?

My boyfriend is Turkish and he keeps calling me kuzu or kuzucuk which means lamb or little lamb... he's 26 and I'm 18. he told me you also can use it on babies so I thought it was kinda weird but is it normal? or maybe does anyone know if it's just a cultural thing?

It's a term of endearment. Lots of terms of endearment can be used on children as well as adult loved ones; honey, baby, darling, etc. Most are interchangeable. It's not weird that he calls you that!

Maybe he means you're small and cute? :D Or not necessarilly small, but younger than him could be an alternative :)
