Why is my ex still entertaining drama on Instagram?

I actually had made a new Instagram account (about a few months ago) and blocked my ex since he has a weird habit of creeping and blocking my social media profiles although we are not friends on any platform anymore. I also had a second account on Insta that I just use as a substitute. I noticed about a week ago that he had found the second account and blocked. Which doesn’t really make sense because I have no posts in that account (just my name and pic) and HIS account is private. I also don’t follow anyone in that account and my friends haven’t seen it yet. Very odd behaviour so what do you think his reasons are for blocking my sub-account? It has been like 2 years since we talked so I don't know why he’s still engaging in this behaviour.

I mean I’m sure I’m not the only person to check. i think as long as it is not more than every couple of months it’s normal

Because people usually don’t block me if I’m not interacting with them anyway so it stands out
