We have all come across those seemingly desperate guys (and girls sometimes) who are always defending every other girl on social media, and some girls seem to love it. Some guys (and girls) do it to get laid, while other guys (and girls) seem to think that every woman is a victim and needs their protection.
I don't get these stupid terminologies nowadays. I am in my early 30s, back in high school, guys never used the term "simp" it would be more like "dude stop being a pussy and go talk to her" or "creepy" which I guess is equivalent to a simp. I mean what one girl may find "desperate/weird" as a simp by todays standards, other girls may find that adorable/cute. Even on a site like GAG, guys can talk shit behind a screen and point the finger, but we are not some male goddess online who can get any chick. I am saying this from a guy's perspective obviously because simps are usually referred to for guys, I rarely hear it for girls.
I think it's stupid because your never get any women from it. The women manipulating them for money.
I think most of the male-female relationship dynamic would improve drastically if it were just easier for people to meet each other. In a way that isn't heavily skewed like Tinder (Tinder has a Gini coefficient of 0.58, so higher inequality than 95% of countries, YIKES). People would be less bitter, less desperate, they would be at least somewhat less likely to stay in abusive relationships, etc.
In the past you had stuff like balls and events where people could meet each other. Now you can really only meet people through College, high school, work, Online dating, or maybe if you're extra lucky mutual friends.
there are different kinds of simps. i like those simps who does it because they genuinely care about the person even though the person likes someone else but they just want whats best for that person. the simps that manipulate people? not a fan

@Louistruman19 Men view me as a human being who is also capable of having sex with them. Simps see me as an achievement, a walking sex doll. There is a difference in finding someone sexually attractive and only wanting them for sex.

Simps are those losers, who worship every profile with a pretty girl on it. This gives women a very elevated sense of self worth (beyond the limits of reality). Therefore simps are not only not getting any pussy but they're making it harder for the rest of us men, who actually do something in our lives.
I see Simps as people who got out of their way to do something for a girl and Hopes for something in return. Like the guys who donate shit tons of money to girl streamers for a bit of attention from her, that's a simp. A guy holding the door for a girl expecting nothing more then maybe a thank you isn't a simp that's just being nice.

Simp another lame term I hate from this current generation. You know something I’ve learned there are 2 types of people in this world; people who treat others like shit, and others that don’t. In between all the bs we try to weed out the fakes and backbiters.

Being protective of girls is appropriate at times since they actually are physically weaker and all. And their softer personalities does justify defending them as they're often unable to react properly to violent/aggressive/abusive guys.
Depending on who and in what context you refer to, it can be fine and perfectly acceptable to completely unjustified.

That's not entirely true, I am a bit of a simp but I don't do it for sex I do it because I see how many man are always treating women horrible and I think it's wrong and wish it could change but I'm only one person so that couldn't really work but I believe 97% of Simps are just sex wanting assholes.
