There is a man who I have a crush on. He is in his 40s while I'm in my late twenties and I occasionally flirt with him whenever I see him in passing. Long story short, he seems to be interested back from the observations I've gathered about him throughout our interactions. Today we had a longer conversation that normal and I was having fun talking to him and giggling at his jokes.
Before i go on, I will say that sometimes when I am nervous, my chest begins to get red.
I didn't realize it, but he said "Are you a shy person?" and I said..."No, why?"
He then says, "Because your chest is red" and he kind of said it in a way that seemed like it was trying to point out and throw in my face that he may suspect I'm nervous around him.
I felt like it completely revealed that I sometimes get nervous around him and I didn't want him to know he has that much power over me. I was trying to come off as calm and cool, but it was hard.
Does he maybe think less of me now? I'm so embarrassed but I can't prevent it! It just happens
