What happens when you pee on an electric fence?

The one time I went for a walk with my male cousin and his friend and we reached a fence and when the touched it it gave them like a static shock. We got back home and told my aunt, who said jokingly that they should have peed on it. They didn't and I've been wondering ever since then (it was a few years ago) what happens

You can, however, get very unlucky if your urine stream is fast enough, in which case the urine would create a connection between your body which connects to a grounding source, the earth. In which case it can be lethal. That may include burns, brain damage, heart failure, damage to the nervous system and most commonly, your heart can go into cardiac arrest. The heart beats due to electrical impulses and could mistake the signal from the outside for its own, destroying the rythm.

All-in-all, most likely nothing will happen, however, you could die.

I misjudged the height of one (or the length of my legs!) while stepping over one once, and got a shock to my upper inner thigh; that was bad enough. Peeing on one would be a seriously bad idea.

The Mythbusters tested that once. Electricity won't travel up the stream into you because it's too broken up. So nothing except having a pee soaked fence.

My guess is that the electric spark would follow the stream of urine to the ground instead of up and into a person who is probably where rubber sneakers
