Suddenly stopped watching my IG stories?

So I have talked to this guy, who is extremely low effort and I have noticed that he just stopped watching my stories the past couple of days out of the blue. He has watched almost all of them for months, if not a year. What could make him want to stop watching? We only talk every two weeks, (low effort - (we mostly talk when HE reacts to MY IG stories, never the other way around) and that's fine with me. On a guy's perspective I was wondering why a guy might do that. I have done this before to men, but it's only when I am trying to get over them and not feel them anymore. Does he think I am weird or something I don't know.

Sometimes stories don’t show up straight away when you’re following loads of people so it could be due to a completely random reason. It could also be because he wants you to think about him. My ex used to stop watching my stories whenever we weren’t talking for whatever reason.
