When I consider that there's probably numerous girls and guys who are better than me at everything I do... it doesn't bother me when someone beats me, regardless of who it is.
I used to be way too competitive, and cared too much about being the best at the things I enjoyed. That actually caused me to enjoy my hobbies less, since it made me quite toxic.
Nowadays I take things much easier

Hahahah...
It depends on the game.
If I lose armwrestling against a girl, i'd be intimidated and maybe feel less masculine.
But simple facts is that a male weighs a lot more than a female.
And even though we have more muscle to compensate, you still have physics laws like "inertia".
So I'm sure there are lots of sports out there at which women would beat the crap out of me at it.
What Guys Said
You know, I have to admit, at an instinctive level in males, the answer is Yes.
Or, perhaps, it is more like "I am not supposed to lose to a girl." That's not a direct indictment of my masculinity but, instead, upsets my sexist-but-instinctive worldview.
However, for something like table tennis or Monopoly or whatever, it is not so much of a big deal. Yet, at the same time, it nags. For instance, in the summer of 1985, I was living at my GFs house with her mom. I was playing Monopoly with my girlfriend. She had total luck and got all the railroads and I just kept landing on her properties. She was killing me in the game. There was no way I was going to win, but I kept playing because I could not accept the eventual defeat. I was about to be in grad school and very intelligent while she was 5 years younger and going to be a senior in high school and, while not stupid, not the smartest either. At the time, it was very upsetting to lose to her like that - I was better than her and I should have won. Yet, here I am getting killed. Why? Monopoly isn't just a game of smart decisions, but luck. She had the luck and I didn't and none of my smart decisions were going to bail me out. I am still haunted by that loss, but look back at it accepting it because I understand the mathematics and reality of Monopoly and have come to realize that that game is a good microcosm representation of the real world: smarts and talent get you only so far, but luck can either bolster you or hinder you at the same time.I was about 12 years old. I was taking Tae Kwondo class where both girls and guys were in attendance. We usually have to spar each other for a grade. Well being a big guy in stature i was felt like i was going to break things and i did not want to hurt anyone. One day it was my turn to spar someone. The sensei picked a smaller cute brunette girl as my partner. I was a yellow belt and she was a green belt. So she had more training. We did not use any protection except for me with my cup. We started to fight and i was getting in some good kicks but she was brutal. Before i knew it she knocked me down and pinned me to mat. She did this like 3 times and everytime she kept looking into my eyes. In the end after we were done she glanced at me and smiled. I was so turned on and in love. Lol ever since that i knew i love strong girls who can fight. Major turn on. 😂
Nah, I have been handed my arse so many times I get used to it.
for example, mountain biking with someone on the UK team, was I surprised she utterly spanked my ass, nope.
whether it’s monopoly, maths, tennis (I suck) or another game, I am happy enough to concede they spanked my ass or won by being better etc.
there is always someone better than you- u
I do not.
But it would depend on the situation, if a girl beats me at soccer I would not feel that good about that, considering my skills and the specific sport... lol. I lost to a girl at billiards (pool). Felt kinda bad as I hadn't played in, well, a long time. Turns out she had won awards and tournaments. It's all in individuals and not gender.
It's alright when girls win. Mostly it just has to do with skill, in sport anyhow. And I enjoy watching girls win things and celebrate.
not at all, Bravo.. the best and most skilled person won...
Feel like boys your age would say that lol
Nope. I'm not good at everything...
Some stereotypical people lack sportsmanship.
